Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Best place we stayed in Iceland. Fantastic food at breakfast and dinner, including freshly caught trout, great trail ride by a wonderful guide, comfortable room, and we loved the animals - a parrot, dogs, a visiting arctic fox family, and of course the horses!
Set in Reykjanes Westfjords, Reykjanes Hostel offers a shared lounge. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property.... Open swimming pool with natural thermal water warms and refreshes you in cold Icelandic weather.
Fjord Guesthouse B&B has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Súðavík. There's a fully equipped shared bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. The staffs were so friendly. Our group arrived a bit late but the staffs were still there to welcome us with their smile. They were so helpful to give us the tourist information nearby. The check-in and check-out system were so easy. And the place provided the laundry machine and the clothes dryers for travellers like us. The price is really affordable.
Located in Súðavík, Sudavik guesthouse features free bikes, shared lounge, garden, and free WiFi. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a playground. We were warmly greeted by a lovely lady whose name I have forgotten. All I know is that she is French and she is lovely. She was so helpful and gave us great tips on things to do and places to visit. The house itself was very cozy and despite there being many other guests, it was incredibly silent and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here.
Located in the West Fjords fishing village of Súdavík, this 3-bedroom holiday home is 12 mi from Ísafjördur town center. It offers free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen and scenic-view terrace. The nice and warm House with the view to the sea. The Arctic Fox Center, Isafjördur was also very nice to visit.
Such a great place to relax and enjoy tranquility! They have both an indoor and outdoor hot pool close to the main house plus another one near the creek, as well as another hot pool right next to the fjord if you drive a little way around. We met locals there who said that was the best hot pool in Iceland - the view was certainly the best! We did a kayaking trip and saw puffins and seals, as well as a horseback riding trip - we were able to go much faster than anything in the US! Even rode the horses through the water on the edge of the fjord! Food at the restaurant was very good and the breakfast satisfying with enough variety to suit anyone's tastes. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!
