Absolutely amazing. The property was quite large, super tasteful decoration, comfy beds, a very well equipped kitchen. The host was also one of the nicest persons I've ever met, so kind and helpful!!! The cleanliness was also spot on, one of the cleanest places that I've stayed in. The highlight of the property for me was the patio with the private hot-tub and a grill. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy youself. The sunset was also amazing, with nothing blocking the view! I can only recommand it!

The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Room was clean and the bathroom had good toiletries. Excellent shower (no tub 👌). We hate tubs. The proximity to the airport is definitely walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included. Smoke free hotel.

Looks better than the pictures. Very clean and cozy place, we were only there for two days because we went somewhere else, but I wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived at 1am (01:00), There was a 24/7 reception that was very nice and helped us. In addition, the parking near the hotel is free. The hotel is located in a 10-minute drive from the airport. There is a very nice breakfast from 4pm to 10am, for 3100 crowns per person. They served scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, fresh vegetables and fruits, cheese and cereal . There was also a dessert and hot and cold drinks. At the entrance there was a small kiosk where you could buy food and drinks. Plus, the room was cleaned every day. Overall the place is very good. Highly recommend.

We chose to stay here on our last night in Iceland, for the convenience of the airport. It was really good, a very easy 10/15 minute drive, with no traffic or weather worries so was well worth it! Its close to blue lagoon too so you could go there, but it was fully booked for us so we drove up to Sky lagoon instead to soother our aching muscles! Has a hot tub which we didn't use as we had been to the lagoon but would have been a nice way to finish off especially as we were treated to a great Aurora display.. a fantastic way to bid farewell to Iceland! Very well equipped and nicely furnished. The only slight negative if we were staying longer is the walls were a little thin in the semi detached and you could hear next door at times, as they had a full house, so I would opt for the detached for privacy but fine for us for one night.

We were two couples and only stayed one night. But the welcome was very friendly and the two-bedroom accommodation was very comfortable. There was a spa overlooking the sea, but we couldn't try it because we were flying out the next morning.

It was a lovely and peaceful end to our Iceland tour. Sandgerdi isn't the most spectacular place, but everything you need is within walking distance. The nearby Gardur lighthouse is a worthwhile destination with a charming local museum (free entry!).

As I explained in my previous comment, the house was very beautiful and cozy, the hosts very friendly, and the breakfast excellent! We ate at a nearby restaurant called Dum, where the fish and seafood was delicious.

The owner was very hospitable.

The owner was very hospitable. The cabins are beautifully situated on Reykjannes Island, close to the airport and the Blue Lagoon. Ideally located for visiting Krusuvik Seltun. A great spot; if we go again, we'll definitely stay at the Ocean Cabins.

I can highly recommend this accommodation.

I can highly recommend this accommodation. We've been booking it at the beginning and end of our Iceland trips for several years now. The proximity to the airport isn't a problem. It offers a beautiful sea view and is ideal for a short trip to Reykjavik and the surrounding area.
