Providing a bar, La casetta di Lilly provides accommodations in Amelia. There's a seating and/or dining area in some units. A buffet breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. Great location for getting to airport early next morning and staff really cared about the guests. Everything was exceptional as described and host left us breakfast as leaving early. Great value - can't go wrong!
Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool, La Casa di Mary offers accommodations 3.7 mi from Amelia center. The property is 28 mi from Orvieto and free private parking is provided. The hosts were waiting for me on arrival, showed me round the villa, explained how everything worked. Everything supplied for basic cooking, including herbs, oil and vinegar, an espresso machine. It was hot when I stayed, but the house stayed much cooler than it was outside, making for comfortable nights. I travelled around the whole region (it's only 75 minutes drive to Rome), and Marmore Falls are unmissable! You couldn't ask for a more natural setting, with fields in front of the villa (one of the more surreal experiences was watching a farmer ploughing his field whilst I was sitting in the pool!), and there are wooded hills to the rear. Amelia is a beautiful town just 5 minutes away by car, great for grocery shopping and dining out.
Located in Amelia, 22 miles from Terni, Agriturismo San Valentino provides free bikes and free WiFi. The farm stay offers a TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bidet. Everything was amazing, so comfortable and loved the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and it was lovely talking to the owner. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Their olive oil is delicious as well!
Located in Amelia, 17 miles from Terni, Agriturismo Tara has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Some units are air-conditioned and include a seating and/or dining area. This was a such wonderful place to stay! It is a beautiful property, a nice quiet location with gorgeous views and yet close to the lovely village of Amelia. There were so many lovely little touches that made it very special. Everything has clearly been done with a lot of care. Our room was really lovely and comfortable. We really enjoyed the large swimming pool in the heat of the Italian summer. The hosts were wonderful too - so friendly and helpful. To add to all that this was a great base from which to explore Umbria with all its lovely medieval villages, beautiful scenery and fantastic food. I would love to go back and highly recommend Tara.
Located in Amelia, 23 miles from Todi, B&B44 provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Some units are air-conditioned and include a balcony and/or a seating area with a flat-screen TV. B&B44 is located on one of the most impressive locations within Amelia + has the nicest view over the area. You can enjoy this incredible view during breakfast sitting on the terrace. The owners are very friendly and helpful, caring for their visitors in any possible way. I've enjoyed the whole stay at B&B 44 and recommend it to anyone who loves a quiet, incredible view in one of the most unique locations in Italy.
Amelia is a nice town, a little over an hour from Rome and it has many amazing towns such as Narni close by. The hills are dramatic and the landscape well taken care of. People are nice and not spoiled by tourism.
The Cathedral is rally something. The view of the valley below is spectacular. Try out the little stores for unique buys with still the Italian liras price tags. Make sure to say Bon Jiorno or Hello to all the locals that you meet - this is expected and valued. To make a long story short - this is a really quaint Medieval town to explore.

Every bit of it. We were picked up because we were late from the opera, in the duomo in Amelia, and couldn't find it directly. The lady and her son were super kind and helpful. the Room was great with a very sexy Bathtub. And it was all I needed. We had a morning swim and a garden breakfast. What else would you wish?
Everything about this villa is lovely and lovingly put together. The restaurant is excellent. The Villa is a bit out of the way, but if one is looking for tranquility at the end of a day of visiting Todi or Narni or Terni or Amelia or any of the lovely little places around, this is the perfect place.
In the countryside but incredibly easy to access Amelia and everywhere I wanted to go. The only problem was that the house was so comfortable, I spent two days just resting and enjoying the wild turkeys and geese and farm land.
The staff we very friendly and helpful. The hotel was really beautiful and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's restaurant.
