Loved everything about this place. The location, the size of the apt, the bed (it was so comfortable), the view, the cleanliness, the price, the well-equipped kitchen, the super friendly landlady. All in all, I had a very positive experience albeit only for one night. I hope to return one day soon.

When we arrived late because of traffic, Eleonora invited us to dine with them and seerved a wonderful tuscan meal with homemade specialities. On the third evening of our stay, Eleonora served another fantastic meal, including crostini and fried pigeons. We highly recomend Antica Dimora to everybody looking for a beautiful and peaceful place, where you will experience true tuscan hospitality. The value for money is incredible! Birte & Anders, Denmark

Anghiari is a charming, ancient village that has yet to be discovered by Americans, yet which was a lovely surprise for us...unlike other locales we visited in Italy, it was uncrowded. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at La Nena, which serves typical local cuisine.
Anghiari itself was a most attractive medieval town with magnificent views (and the artisan shop windows were beautifully dressed but I had not time to visit). I was attending the annual Southbank Sinfonia Music Festival and it was very special and the music and their organisation was of a very high standard. Well worth a visit. I can't remember the names of the two small but most attractive restaurants for a delicious evening meal.
Loved the fact it is unspoilt and not commercialised. Lots of beautiful places to see, all accessible on foot, and lovely local restaurants to eat at. We particularly love Il feudo del vicario. The chef Antonio is also an amazing artist. Worth a visit.
What a really delightful place. We walked round the old town many times and tried to learn some of its history. We went several times to the Gardini di Vicaro for coffee and lunches. It was excellent and has the most spectacular views. There are other good restaurants in the town.
Nice little town full of history. It is beautiful just to walk around the small roads and look at the houses. Beautiful during the night because the colour of the rocks is beautiful with the artificial light.
The city has preserved the medieval atmosphere of the town extremely well. Each building, plaza, and church provided another photo opportunity. The city was well marked with plaques in both Italian and English explaining the history. The museums were also well documented in both languages.
