Very nice Etruscan city with nice gourmet and wine shops, specialties from the region and many museums and cathedrals. The piazza Grande has couple of antic stores with old leather and metal works, restaurants. I also found out while being there that Arezzo was the birth place of Petrarca - famous italian poet and considered the first humanist.
There are far more attractive and typical Tuscan towns than this one. It was crowded with traffic and teenagers, I wouldn’t recommend a visit - frescos or no frescos... One of the least friendly places that we have been in Italy. At a time of Covid-19 restrictions, you would think that mask wearing and social distancing would be the norm, you would be wrong. I did not feel safe.
Fantastic Tuscan town. Not the usual tourist trap kind of place that you get a lot in Tuscany. Beautiful antiques markets takes over the town every first Sunday of the month and it is worth going just for that even though there are lots more to see in Arezzo. The amazing fresco cycle by PIero della Francesca is also a must-see and it well organised and is free the first Sunday of the month. So it is a god excuse to see the frescoes and the market.
The perfect-sized town for a quiet get-away vacation, with lovely churches and neat, modern shops and restaurants! The architecture is interesting with medieval aspects. The countryside is gorgeous with rolling hills, beautiful houses and trees. The people in the town are friendly. The town is easily walk-able for people with strong knees and hips, but I don't recommend it for people with walking issues. The streets are all cobblestone, and you're either going uphill or downhill!
A beautiful city centre, historical sites located close by in walking distance from station, good cuisine except for the Japanese restaurant where the food was not fresh, nice people and unassuming cool shops for fashion. Lovely shop for terracotta souvenirs in Piazza Vasali. Stayed at the wonderful Bella di Ceciliano accommodation. If we had managed to secure a car we would have seen much more.
Arezzo a once beautiful medieval town now has a lot of grafitti, which surprised us. Good parking to town, plenty of historic areas to view, we enjoyed the clock tower with fantastic views. Many restaurants and bars around, eating outside is OK apart from smokers whilst dining. good market on a Monday. Enjoyable.
Arezzo
We had a lovely vacation the first two weeks of August. Personnel was very friendly, breakfast was great with super coffee. We very much enjoyed the nice gardens and the pool. The location was great, in the middle of Tuscany. Arezzo city center is very close by; but other great areas and towns such as Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano, Chianty region... are close by. We appreciated the recommendations for winery visits and old towns by the B&B owner and staff. It made sure we visited great sightings and had a super Tuscany experience.
Arezzo
Very good localisation, nice and clean surrounding with just few minutes of walk to the centro. No problems with parking or access to the room. Some nice surprises in room (sweets or fruits) from owner (Elisa) - generally I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. And one more thing -> you can trust the restaurant's recommendation (and also near bar) that you probably will get from Elisa - she has a good taste. Grazie.
Location in historic centre of Arezzo. Huge quiet room with frescoed ceiling. Hig quality large shower plus separate bath in the room and 2 basins. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. Made excellent restaurant recommendations. Organised parking for car with paid valet service. Quirky design with mix of modern and old fashioned italian style.
Arezzo
Let’s start with the heartedly welcome that we felt when we firstly met the owner... he drove his car and led us to a permitted parking place, helped us with the lag gage to the hotel which was in the old city. The same procedure was taken the day later, on the way back to our car. The unit we had was super equipped, clean spacious and welcoming. Great location, the best we could ask...
Otello and his family are so gracious and welcoming. The apartment is in a perfect location right in the middle of historic Arezzo! The apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay in Arezzo and Italy. Thank you Otello for your compassion. I will definitely see you all again soon.
Superb location. Character property. Owner extremely helpful. Excellent food and wine, very much of the area. Great value. Although the rooms are simple they are clean and comfortable, excellent bed and bed linen. The views are stunning. It’s a real taste of Italy not a chain hotel.
Arezzo
the building originally was a tower and now tranformed into a hotel, very elegant and beautiful with modern comfort. The location is excellent, my room has the view exactly on the Piazza Grande. The staff is very freindly and the room is super clean.
Arezzo
The room is spacious and the bathroom also. Well located near Corso Italia. Host recommended us good restaurant in town. There is a parking 200m of the hotel, just before ZTL zone. The host adapted kindly to our arrival hour.
Great hotel dor a night stop. Good size room with comfortable bed, small but nice bathroom. Breakfast is simply but okay. From price point of view perfect.
Perfect place for an overnight stay whilst travelling through Italy on the motorway. Close to the motorway junction and a modern, clean, comfortable room.
Arezzo
The location, walking distance to the train station and to the main pedestrian street in old town Arezzo. Also excellent parking and easy to find by car.
Lots of outdoor space, convenient parking, very close to the Arezzo equestrian center, if one is interested. Helpful and cordial receptionist.
we went to the hotel without high expectations but it was a good experience. The entire feeling was nice for a3 stars hotel.
Excellent location, public parking within 15 min walk. Very clean, nice bathroom, the kitchen has all the essentials.

Arezzo
A beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Good parking.
Not much good to say about the hotel
What is not to like about this wonderful place. From the moment you approach the location the scenery is breathtaking. The property is beautifully designed, so much attention to detail in the most sophisticated way. The staff was really friendly and very accommodating, from Marco the Sommelier that handled every single one of our meals with knowledge and care to Nadia with her fun remarks and great suggestions for what to do locally, to Davide in the reception. We truly wished we had booked more days at this property. The near by Arezzo is charming and it’s unique vintage and antique market really worth a visit in the first Sunday of every month. I already miss the passion fruit Aperol Spritz’s in the garden overlooking the landscape.
