Breakfast was wonderful- we enjoyed the variety and freshness of what was offered (a welcome break from the typical/simple breakfast at a local bar offered by many B&Bs). Parking nearby worked out very well and we appreciated the friendly and reliable communication with the front desk.

I came to Ascoli Piceno because I was looking at properties to buy in the region. I had no idea what a beautiful town it is, then again, good luck finding something ugly in Italy. The entire town center should be done on foot. It's not very large and there are countless beautiful sights.

An amazing, beautiful town, the historic center with the most perfect piazza, an incredible number of churches, and buildings made from travertine marble. Still off the radar for most American and British travelers, a situation that won’t last too long!

The Pinacoteca Civica, with its Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, and the Museo Archeologico Statale, offering a glimpse into the town's ancient past, were highlights of our visit. These cultural gems added depth and richness to our Italian adventure, making it an experience we'll treasure forever.

This medieval town is a hidden gem.

This medieval town is a hidden gem. Roman and medieval buildings are a feature of this town and the historic centre is the place to be! There is history on every street and in summer the streets and piazzas are alive with locals going about their business as well as festivals and various events. A definite must-see if you want to get away from the well-worn tourist traps and enjoy a genuine Italian experience. Friendly locals, cheap prices and truly relaxing experience awaits. A 2-3 day trip to just unwind is ideal. I'll be back!

Ascoli is a great city, the city centre is perfectly sized...

Ascoli is a great city, the city centre is perfectly sized to allow you to lose yourself on foot in the delightful rue (as the alleys are called). There are many activities to do and things to see such as churches and bridges. Don't be afraid to ask the locals for information or a hand, they are very friendly and sociable and will definitely help you out. Also in terms of food, it offers a wide range of options from typical to pubs to pizzerias to vegetarian... Also with regard to nightlife, you will certainly find something to do in the evening and you will never get bored. The only thing, a piece of advice... bring a good hat and plenty of fresh water in summer, it's veeeery hot... So go and visit Ascoli and tell me yourself Enjoy your visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Ciotti. Initially had an issue getting our car near the hotel to offload luggage (google maps strikes again) but we made it eventually. The staff were helpful and accommodating when we extended our stay to two nights. The breakfast is amazing (probably too much food). Our room was surprisingly spacious, but it is the location of Palazzo Ciotti that we liked the most.

This was the perfect apartment for our stay in Ascoli Piceno. We absolutely loved it! Wonderfully proximate to the old town, looking out over the Tronto. It is cute, cosy and charming, spotlessly clean and with creative touches and decoration that really made it feel like a home away from home. For two people it was absolutely perfect and we hope to return one day!

This guesthouse is very close to the old town, and to all the attractions Ascoli Piceno has to offer to visitors and tourists alike. The room my partner and I stayed in was very comfortable, the kitchenette was functional and well-stocked, and overall the place was clean. It was also nice to get two free small bottles of water stored in the fridge.

The hotel is in a beautiful historic building that has been tastefully renovated, right in the centre of Ascoli. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The city centre is unfortunately still full of construction works, but of course that's not the hotel's fault. Self check-in was easy enough, with clear instructions.
