HungaryThe location is perfect: Asti is a beautiful and exciting town but since Hotel Cavour is located next to the train station, it can also be the perfect base for exploring the region. The Hotel itself is really pleasant and cosy - of course, no luxury but I have seen four-star hotels in worse condition. My room was comfortable and clean, and the reasonable price included a breakfast also. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The location is quiet at night. The large balcony was great for drying washing and sitting out. It's a great place to stay to explore Asti.

Asti exceeded expectations.
Asti exceeded expectations. We came for a show, and were glad we'd decided to stay for a few nights. The old town has much to see, and is lovely and quiet with very few tourists. Loved wandering around, and also did some lovely day trips to Alba, Neive and Moncalvo, all within half an hour drive.

A lovely walkable town that punches above its weight for museums to teach you about the history of Asti and the Piedmont region. We easily fell into the pace of Italian life, hanging out in its squares having a coffee or a dining alfresco for a top-quality Pizza at one of its many restaurants.

Where the Hotel was located in a central position there were groups of Youths on some of the street corners. The Restaurant to which we were recommended was down a narrow dark street. The food was good though.

Asti has interesting history and architecture with the annual Palio being a main feature of the events calendar. Would recommend visiting for the churches and for the friendly hospitality in bars and restaurants.

We wanted a smaller, quieter town with some historic interest and Asti was exactly that. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. We spent two days investigating Asti and its museums, which was about right. The station also gave easy access for a day in Genoa.

People are patient and friendly.
People are patient and friendly. There is a wide variety of food available. We were there at a busy time, but were still able to do most of the things we wanted. The Saturday market is incrdible and the winestreet tasting ecent was a.lot of fun and a good way to get familiar with the area, aswe stayed in the historic centre.

My wife and I loved absolutely everything about this hotel.
For a very reasonable cost, we had an immaculately clean room, complete with complementary wine and fruit. A fantastic breakfast with such a choice that we didn't know where to begin.
A family run hotel. The owners clearly care for their guests. The service is superb, and we shall definitely return next year on our way to Italy and on our way back home.

We had a wonderful time and warmly recommend staying at this lovely family-run bed and breakfast just outside Asti on the Piemontese countryside. The peaches, pears, grapes and hazelnuts grown on the orchard here are delicious and so is the breakfast with lovingly homemade cakes and fruit preserves. The owners are so kind, generous and helpful. Grazie mille!

Spacious and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful extras, like pasta and sauce, umbrellas, milk in the fridge and shampoo. Very comfortable mattress and lots of cupboard storage in the bathroom. A very central location, with a good sized supermarket about 3 minutes away. An excellent base for exploring Asti and surrounding towns.

The host was very friendly and welcomed the kids with the juice. The apartment was very very well equipped and it felt like home. Internet speed was above 700 Mbit per second. If I had to visit Asti again, I would choose this apartment again.
