HungaryThe location is perfect: Asti is a beautiful and exciting town but since Hotel Cavour is located next to the train station, it can also be the perfect base for exploring the region. The Hotel itself is really pleasant and cosy - of course, no luxury but I have seen four-star hotels in worse condition. My room was comfortable and clean, and the reasonable price included a breakfast also. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

United KingdomThe receptionist Louisella went out of her way to welcome us and to explain where a local pizza place (5 mins walk) was for our evening meal. The room was large and comfy and clean. Even though the hotel is in a reasonably industrial area it was made elegant inside and there was no noise from the motorway.

The location is quiet at night. The large balcony was great for drying washing and sitting out. It's a great place to stay to explore Asti.

Asti exceeded expectations.
Asti exceeded expectations. We came for a show, and were glad we'd decided to stay for a few nights. The old town has much to see, and is lovely and quiet with very few tourists. Loved wandering around, and also did some lovely day trips to Alba, Neive and Moncalvo, all within half an hour drive.

A lovely walkable town that punches above its weight for museums to teach you about the history of Asti and the Piedmont region. We easily fell into the pace of Italian life, hanging out in its squares having a coffee or a dining alfresco for a top-quality Pizza at one of its many restaurants.

Where the Hotel was located in a central position there were groups of Youths on some of the street corners. The Restaurant to which we were recommended was down a narrow dark street. The food was good though.

Asti has interesting history and architecture with the annual Palio being a main feature of the events calendar. Would recommend visiting for the churches and for the friendly hospitality in bars and restaurants.

We wanted a smaller, quieter town with some historic...
We wanted a smaller, quieter town with some historic interest and Asti was exactly that. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. We spent two days investigating Asti and its museums, which was about right. The station also gave easy access for a day in Genoa.

People are patient and friendly.
People are patient and friendly. There is a wide variety of food available. We were there at a busy time, but were still able to do most of the things we wanted. The Saturday market is incrdible and the winestreet tasting ecent was a.lot of fun and a good way to get familiar with the area, aswe stayed in the historic centre.

The apartment is located in the city center of Asti and has a terrace with a great view overlooking a town square. You just step outside and there are restaurants and bars everywhere. The location is excellent to go exploring on foot. The apartment itself has all the needed facilities and is just a perfect little piece of heaven with more than enough space. The hosts are very welcoming, helping you out quickly via whatsapp with clear instructions. It was great that we could park our car safely closeby (at an additional cost).

The Cascina is in a lovely setting just outside the town of Asti. It's a picturesque family home run by Giuliana and her husband. We were given a lovely welcome and shown to our rooms which were of a good size with charmingly eclectic linen. Giuliana provided a very nice breakfast of local produce (they keep chickens so there were eggs on offer) and normal continental breakfast options. Coffee/tea options were basic.

Very nice hotel in a quiet place near Asti (only 10min drive).
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was great.
You can park your car easily.
The host, Francesco, is super welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We highly recommand this hotel.

The hotel is well located in Asti, not far from the Saturday market area. Parking is nearby but there are only a few spots. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and adequate. The staff were helpful.
