Set in panoramic location in the Susa Valley, Hotel Rosa Serenella features a traditional restaurant and pizzeria, and a free gym. It is a 5-minute walk from Bardonecchia Train Station. Great ski area and good lift system. Better town area than some of the nearby Torino areas as Bardo base lifts are right in the town, making getting to/from lifts and apres ski very easy. The town is charming and clearly a historically local favorite for Italians.
Bardonecchia can be reached by train and has public transportation. The mountains are really, really nice. The ski runs are well maintained and groomed. Activities abound. A nice ski resort that is also a nice town, with town-like services. Valle Stretta and Rochemolles valleys are awesome. During summer, a lot of unpaved mountain roads are beautiful, but could be extremely challenging to drive.

The restaurant (practically for hotel guests only) is really good, and has a variety of self-service appetizers that could be the whole meal. Hotel is conveniently located and reasonably quiet. Well organized and well run by the owner, almost always present and ready to address any problem. Probably good value for a large family or group.
Wonderful Italian hosts; punctual and very responsive to our questions. Lovely welcome gift of Christmas goodies as well! Fully equipped kitchen, lots of space, brand new bathrooms. Within 5mins drive to Campo Smith ski slopes. Perfect for our family.

Cristina and her colleagues made us feel really at home from the very first minute of our stay. We couldn't be welcomed more warmly in spite of the fact that we were late. We really appreciated the effort in giving us the best directions to take the best out of our short time in Bardonecchia.

The hots was super nice. I only stayed one night and had to leave early before breakfast started, so he packed breakfast for me, which made my later trip much better.
