It was a very centric hotel with a very confortable and spacious room. We really enjoyed the facilities and also the great breakfast they offered (variety of goodies and proteins) I will definitely come back in the future. This super-ultra-modern-style is overdone, too much to be electronically manipulated, room design out of touch with the town of Bolzano and the hotel GREIF I liked and remember from 50 + years ago. This room might fit well in Amsterdam or Singapore, but in Bolzano?

The hotel has a restaurant. They serve breakfast there in the morning. İn the evening, the restaurant becomes the grill haven. You will never taste such a good meat anywhere in İtaly. We did not drink anything with the meat to keep the smell of the wood in our mouth.
The staff was moving in fast forward mode. They were fast, efficient, kind, always smiling. They all know what they are doing. All speak at least three languages and you never look for them, they come to you. İncredible. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable.

Bolzano is one of those cases that are difficult to describe without risking undermining its beauty and complexity. A witness of the conflicts and renaissance of Europe, this Italian city is the capital of the German speaking province of South Tyrol. Located in the Adige River Valley, it is surrounded by hills crowned by castles, and framed by the Dolomites Alps.
After reaching the local railway station, follow the Bahnhofsallee or Viale della Stazione and you’ll reach Walther Square, where the beautiful Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady is located. The shops along the arcaded street of Via dei Portici will lead you towards the market, located in Goethe Strasse. The display of colourful vegetables and flowers encompasses the beautiful buildings, while some of the best luxury hotels in Bolzano are located nearby.
The city is famous for its Christmas Market, but be aware that most of the hotels in Bolzano get sold out quickly during this time! A stroll around the old residential quarter of Gries and a visit to the many nearby castles is a must.
Whether you arrive at the local Dolomites Airport or the larger Verona Airport, check out the Bolzano accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling!
What's not to like about Bolzano. Its perfect as a gateway to the Dolomites but you really need a car.
If you like shopping there's loads of shops.
Tons of restaurants for every pocket.
You can get all over town by walking or even hire a bike.
And best of all its home to the Iceman

We loved our stay at Hotel Post Gries. We could easily find our way around town by using the public transport and walking. We were also able to decide spontaneously each morning if we were to join for breakfast. The breakfast had a huge variety of all the needed components and a delicious cappuccino. Everything was prepared fresh and we can highly recommend this hotel. The Bolzano city cards are awesome and allows you to save plenty of money!
The charming old but modern hotel with an unbeatable location (main square, close to train station and cable car station to Oberbozen) is probably the best place to stay in Bolzano. Old building, modern interior, huge rooms and beds, insane views (get a room with Walther Square view, worth the extra price) and the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered in a hotel (three receptionists, a breakfast server and cleaning lady, all very nice).
The Hotel's position is excellent, just in the centre of Bolzano. We stayed at the Hotel Citta for four nights and were there for the Christmas markets and New Year. Being so central meant we could move quickly without needing public transport or a car. We had three rooms booked, my wife and me, and other family members.
This hotel is very hard to beat. We got a great, spacious room and bathroom and we really appreciated the garden, and the magnificent breakfast. And of course the first class staff. Laurin is located on the best spot for everything Bolzano has to offer.
This was a beautiful hotel with a great location close to Central Bolzano. The facilities were impressive, immaculately clean and the staff were professional and genuine.
