Room and bathroom were of good size and nicely appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Also a nice touch about free happy hour. Location of the hotel was really good and a view from a private balcony was great. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Great place to stay right in the heart of Dolomites.

The room was cute warm and the hotel was in a good location. There was an elevator. Breakfast was nice but no options for vegans

Location excellent and the staff were very warm and welcoming.

We stayed for 10 days over Christmas and New Year with our family (4 adults). Initially, we were given a rather small room for four adults, but it was later changed, which we appreciated. In general, some rooms are quite small (as in London :)). The food was varied, the room was warm, although the electric heater under the window did not seem to work (a pity). However, the hot water was excellent and overall the conditions were good. The hotel was fully booked, with busy dining rooms, mainly due to the very good price for a half-board package, which was cheaper than any apartment in the Sellaronda area without meals included. In fact, staying in an apartment during the holidays would likely have required constant restaurant bookings, while grocery stores had reduced holiday hours, making meals more difficult to manage. The staff was professional and provided standard, reliable service. The hotel manager was very visible and actively involved throughout our stay, supervising services and making efforts to satisfy guests with very different expectations. Overall, we felt somewhat spoiled during this holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The location is good, with the ski bus stopping right in front of the hotel, and there are plenty of parking spaces available for guests arriving by car.

This was one of our best winter ski experience. The location was great (close to the nature,not far away from the town centre). The attitude of the personnel was excellent,food great. Breakfast really various,everyone finds his own preferencies.Dinners typical italian (really very tasty).The personnel drives you every day directly from the hotel to the ski slope (great service!) and back.If we return,we will choose Hotel Gries again! 10 from 10!Great,thank you for everything🙂

Coffee was great, choice was good, no rush

It is an Italian hotel in an old building. Furniture and interior are very old. It appears time has stopped in the sixties. The rooms are clean, spacious an have a balcony. There a some minor defects, which would need to be repaired. Howevere those did not impact my stay in any way! The breakfast is nice and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and even arranged breakfast early on request. You also get a 10% discount, when dinning in the restaurant in the basement, which I would absolutely recommend, since the pizza is great.
