Our stay at Federico’s apartments was excellent. The place is beautifully designed, elegantly furnished, and exceptionally clean. Everything we needed was provided, which made our stay very comfortable. Mr. Federico and his family were wonderful hosts – ready to help and making sure that we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the personal attention and the warm atmosphere they created during our stay. We would gladly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting the area and would be more than happy to come back again in the future. Thank you once more for the excellent service.

Everything. I have 3 times there. The lady who manages the property is amazing a pure lovely soul. Friendly atmosphere and lovely bio products for breakfast. Pet friendly and very close to Rocca Calascio Castle. Susanna, the owner has also developed a very cool audio guide app that helps exploring the surroundings. Highly recommended. I will come back again, for sure.

Capestrano is a beautiful old town in Abruzzo, I recommend to visit the old town, the castle and the nearby lake Capodacqua (recommended to book online for the tour). I also recommend to try the local food (trout and crayfish).

The village is beautiful and full of surprises; it was a pleasure to explore it on foot. Some of its views are reminiscent of the ruins seen in "Lord of the Rings." In the center, just a short walk away, there are some excellent restaurants and all the basic services you need.

A beautiful village in the Turini Valley, surrounded by...

A beautiful village in the Turini Valley, surrounded by nature, a great base for hikes. It also boasts a rich history. Be sure to visit the La Dama di Capestrano gallery, with its hosts Simonetta and Letizia, two warm and passionate women who know their stuff and provide extensive explanations in excellent English.

A pleasant surprise.

A pleasant surprise. A charming, clean village with beautiful historic buildings. Located in a strategic point for visiting Rocca Calascio, S. Stefano di Sessanio, and the Tirino River. The Piccolomini Castle, in the center of the village, is fantastic (managed by a volunteer who keeps it like a jewel).
