Caprino Veronese made a 'normal' impression. It is a small Italian village with mainly locals, few tourists, a variety of restaurants and bars and no particular attractions. The main attraction is the closeness to the nature, Lake Garda and the cities and villages at the lake.

We stayed at Casapiu B&B about 2 miles from the center of Caprino. The host Erica was just wonderful and did things for us that went beyond any other host we have ever stayed with. The B&B is located in a picturesque village in the hills where it is so calm and peaceful. Verona is a 40-minute drive away. Lake Garda takes 10 mins in a car or you can get buses from Caprino to Garda. Garda is an excellent place to explore lake Garda. There is a ferry service available that takes you to other places. We went to Bardolino. It only cost 3 Euros each one way.

In the Caprino Veronese you can fine several very nice local italian restaurant. Housekeepers clean all rooms everyday with change towels and bed linen time to time. You can find very good breakfast with large flavour of tastes and good coffee. Last but not least - nice selection of locally made wines - you need to taste by yourself.

Sabina and Luigi are fantastic hosts, we felt very welcome.
