The hotel is right in the middle of Caserta, you can pretty much walk everywhere (including the train station). It's a 40m comute to Napoli (by train). The staff was amazing and always ready to help. A special shout out to Rita who cooked our breakfast every day, you're a legend! If you're looking for a place around Caserta make sure you include this one in your pool of options.

There are mixed reviews on booking.com. Set the record straight. Great room, huge bathroom, heart heat, great hot water and pressure! Breakfast is excellent! Staff was very helpful recommending anything you need. Great location to visit Caserta palace. Approach from the street hotel is on is best. Two blocks from palace parking for 3 euros for day! Also parking at hotel plentiful and secure. Liked so much stayed second night instead of moving on!!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room literally felt and looked like a presidential suite and we had three balconies. The hotel is in a great location, only a 5 minute drive to the city of Caserta and the palace. It is also only a 5-7 minute drive to the outlets and mall. This hotel is at a great location for those wanting to stop on the way to/ from Rome/ Napoli or those wanting to explore the surrounding area (only a 25 minute drive to Eracleon Archaeological Park). The breakfast at the hotel was good. There is tons of parking and an underground parking garage. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel.

The bedroom was big for European standards and so was the bed. Although a bit old in terms of the entrance and lobby, entire hotel was extremely clean and our room had parquet floors which also make it cleaner than carpet. The breakfast was excellent with cereals, coffees, milk, breads, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, egg, omelet, yoghurts, jams, etc

Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town.

Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town. The Royal Palce is jaw dropping and it is a 8E return train ride from Naples. With a car, there are many fantastic Roman sites and a spectacular coastline within 30k. The town has quite a number of excellent Pizza restaurants, all competitively priced.

Caserta is a very busy town with a network of narrow one way streets. The significant sights in and around Caserta are easily reached by the cheap local buses. The Royal Palace and its gardens are a real gem. There are many excellent restaurants, Chichibio was our favourite.

I had to go the hospital.

I had to go the hospital. The drive was crazy as are the streets of Caserta! The hospital from the outside looked as if it was in a war-torn country. Driving up to the ER was blocked by 100 people. Everyone is smoking in Caserta and we've actually found that to be true everywhere in Italy. I was sick with asthma. The hospital DID NOT help me. They actually treated me with disdain. I was the only person with a mask on due to my coughing. Several different GPS apps had literally going in circles. A police officer was very helpful and took us straight to the BNB. We were not to see the Royal Palace of Caserta. It was nice in that the first week of April is a slow tourist time. We had the streets to ourselves in walking. The drivers are crazy; give the taxi driver your address and close your eyes!

Palace was amazing.

Palace was amazing. The gardens were fabulous to walk through. It was nice to be out of the busyness of city of Naples and relax in the fresh air of gardens around palace. I would recommend staying here and travelling into Naples to tour around and travel back to stay at Royal caster hotel.

The palace park was ok to visit but having visited Villa...

The palace park was ok to visit but having visited Villa d'Este (Tivoli) earlier in my trip, it was not hugely interesting. However visiting the Roman amphitheatre/arena at Capua (a short train journey away) was stunning.
