The hotel exceeded our expectations. Its proximity to the beach was an added bonus. Every morning, we woke up and watched the sunrise. The beach is just a 3–4 minute walk away, and there is also a free public beach very close to the hotel. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. It is a lovely family-run hotel. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. We will never forget the taste of the fresh, warm croissants served every morning. We stayed in a room with a balcony, and the balcony was truly very spacious. When we entered the room, we were greeted by a refreshing, cool atmosphere, which was a lovely contrast to the heat outside. The hotel is cleaned every day. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was not disturbing at all. We did not have to pay any extra fee for using the air conditioning. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that we were planning to take a day trip to San Marino, she kindly gave us some tickets she had left over and did not ask us for any payment. She also did not charge us for the drinks we had at the reception. Thank you so much, Aurora. :) There are many restaurants and cafés near the hotel. Some restaurants close during the middle of the day and only reopen around 6–7 p.m. However, the places on the main street are generally open throughout the day.
