If you miss your host after leaving it means it was a special time you shared with him. Giovanni is one of the most generous, cheerful and friendly man we have ever met. We visited many towns and villages in Tuscany (my first time and my wife's ninth) and there's no other place we felt a real soul of the region more than in "Agriturismo San Giovanni". Indeed, Siena, Pisa are highlights but no city can compete with an authentic, idyllic and calm property out of clamour, surrounded by an olive grove, tucked away in the majestic hills of Tuscany. I won't speak about all advantages of an amazing full equipped apartment we rent. That's obvious. Giovanni produces also delicious Grappa, Vin Santo, red wine, virgin olive oil, prosciutto. He has eggs, figs, grapes, lemons, pomegranates, basils, tomatos and much more he will share with you. What's more on the day of our arrival a special gift awaited us in the kitchen. I hope some day we will come back to chill out at the swimming pool facing the olive grove and listen to the sound of cicadas.
