Staff were super friendly, specially with our 1.5 year old daughter which ment a lot to us. They shared many tips and hints about the area and sites nearby to visit. They even prepared train schedules to help us make the best out of our short visit. The hotel restaurant is just amazing. Food was tasty and we even regretted going to another restaurant once . It has a beautiful view and cute decorations with funny pasta lamps :) it was just perfect. Breakfast was also nice with fresh fruits, nice coffee, cake, Bacon and eggs and everything you need.

This was our last night in Italy after a 2 week holiday. Everything was exception and far exceeded our expectations. We arrived mid-afternoon, hungry and wet from rain. They arranged a special lunch for us even though the dining room was closed. It was the best focaccia ever, fresh and delicious. I really can’t describe how fantastic the staff was, they went above and beyond at all times. My only regret is that we were only there for one night. There was a wedding that evening and we were treated to a lovely fireworks show over the waterfall. It really is a special place. Clean and very comfortable. The Naples airport was easy to get to. Lovely place that I highly recommend!

The apartment was very nice and people of Ercolano very friendly. They really drive like crazy, but that is their way of life. Train station is really near the apartment and best option to reach Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento...
A spectacular place if you are interested in Roman history around the eruption of Vesuvius. There is plenty to see and the remains of Ercolano are in very ggod condition considering it was buried almost 2,000 years ago. Well worth a visit
Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen from most everywhere, Naples bay also is lovely and is seen from most of the places in the town. You can easily find nice fish, pizza, fast food and traditional local restaurants in 10-15 min walk. There is a nice but small botanical garden in the territory of the local university. They also have a park of mandarins/tangerines which you can pick up for free. The ruins of Ercolano/Herculaneum exceeded our expectations! It is not overcrowded as Pompei, the territory you can walk through in 1-1.5 hours, moreover, some buildings are in better condition ... we liked it.
It was an amazing tour back in time. It took around three hours to walk around the ruins. beautiful villas, public bath and paved streets. The small museum inside the territory worths visiting, too. The site is close to the train station. We used the Campania ARTE Card, so both the ticket and the train were free.
Theresa and Claudia are very friendly ,helpful an accommodating. Maurizio was available to let us in despite us arriving early morning ( we had a long flight delay) . Our room had a super large bed which 3 of us slept in , plus an upstairs with a double bed and 2 singles . We also had a dressing room plus a shower and toilet and a further bathroom with bath , toilet etc . The restaurant across the way also owned by Maurizio is superb and comparable price wise to other restaurants in town despite the superiority of the quality of food and drink. A very enjoyable experience. Easy to walk to ruins , also easy walk to train station to go to Pompeii and to get bus to Vesuvius . Also recommend the MAV museum In Ercolano whether you have children or not ! I didn’t manage to book on a tour of the Palais in Ercolano or go in the underground tour in Naples . There are several walks in the National park too. Trains are cheap but often crowded.
This room has shared facilities that were limited .. and not advertised as such. Communication with owner was haphazard .. room was extremely small, very little room to even move around in .. location was good but I wouldn't stay there again
