The only positive aspcet on this hotel is its central location in Baveno.

Was looking for a somewhere simple, cosy and reasonable in Baveno and this placed delivered exactly that. From arrival, the Polish lady (who spoke perfect Italian) was warm and welcoming -- as were her colleagues. Loved the touch of a complimentary bottle of wine in my room. Views over the lake were stunning. Room was clean and airy. Bed was comfy. The bakery two streets away is perfect to grab breakfast and then enjoy the views from the hotel. Generally, the location is excellent.

Amazing location with a beautiful balcony view towards the lake and the islands

I liked the view , you can see the river from my window plus the early morning fresh air. The room was very clean , I was in a single room. With my 2 hours fight delay the staff was understanding and waited till I arrived 🙌

We had a beautiful room at the Palazzo overlooking Lake Maggiore. The design of the whole hotel was fabulous and everything we ate - breakfast, dinner, snacks - were all amazing. Expensive but worth it!

Best thing about the property was Roberto who ran the reception and was exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful

We had the lake room with balcony, highly recommended, super clean and spacious, room and bathroom. Gentleman at reception was very polite and helped us with parking, across the road you have full lake access with long chairs and tables. This is the best hotel in the village and we will definitely come back.

Breakfast, private beach, bicycle storage

It has an old design (so set your expectations accordingly) but it is clean, very spacious, comfy mattress, and has shutter on the window so you can get perfect dark (if you prefer to sleep in complete dark). Toiletries and hairdryer was available. Breakfast was good by italian standard.

Giulio is an extremely kind host, charming, helpful with every request. The view from the room to the lake is amazing. The villa gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The dining room is beautiful and intimate.

Villa Toscanini was one of the nicest accommodation we have stayed in on our 4 week European trip. Beautifully styled and comfortable. Our host was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and the value for money for this property is excellent.
