Delightful, elegant hotel in Carpignano- our base for wine tasting and visits to Gesualdo and the quiet, non- tourist Irpenia countryside. Highly recommended as a break from the Amalfi Coast crowds. This is a lovely hotel with sweeping views over the countryside. The rooftop with a pool is an amazing area to spend time. The rooms were a good size but the shower was on the small side for us. The breakfast was good and the cappuccinos were made and brought to your table by the server. The grounds are lovely with many places to sit outside.
