I recently stayed at the Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel in Naples for one night. Despite being located in an industrial area, I found the hotel to be incredibly comfortable and clean. The room was well-appointed and provided a relaxing environment after a day of travel. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. They were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. Their warm hospitality made a significant positive impact on my experience.

I chose this accommodation for a 4-night stay in Naples after reading many reviews and narrowing down a shortlist based on rating, location, and price. When we arrived, we were informed that our room had been upgraded, and we were placed on the fifth floor with access to a terrace. The room was excellent — spacious, almost brand new, and with a very good bathroom as well. The entire team was extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of options and a small special treat each day (like freshly squeezed orange juice, traditional sweets, etc.). We checked out the evening before since we had an early departure, and to our surprise, they prepared a breakfast for us and left it just outside our room. This level of customer care is quite rare, and we were truly impressed, as it allowed us to have breakfast before beginning our journey home. We absolutely loved our stay — this accommodation is highly recommended.

This was probably the best breakfast selection I've ever had (including stays at resorts, it's really good, insanely good). The hotel had some floor tiles that were like little art pieces, the staff was friendly and provided informations as needed. Room was comfortable and really quiet. We had an upgraded room that had some ocean views. We stayed during Ferragosto, there was a buffet dinner that was lovely (even though it was a little delayed). The other nights the dinner was lovely, and I'd say it's a good value to book the room with dinner included..

FAQs about hotels in Campania

Stunning Scenery and Remarkable Ruins

Wonderful beach resorts, a wealth of history and winding, cliff-hugging roads – these are just a few reasons why Campania is so admired.

Spreading around a bay, the capital Naples is a mix of monumental architecture and narrow streets. Known for pizza and pulsating life night and day, it extends along the coast towards Pozzuoli, site of a Roman amphitheatre and the Phlegrean Fields volcanic area.

The most notorious volcano is of course Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79AD destroyed Pompei and Herculaneum. The ruins of both are an amazing insight into the sophistication of the Romans. Even older are the well-preserved Greek temples at Paestum.

Agropoli sits on a rocky promontory overlooking a beach and harbour, and beautiful Palinuro is at the tip of the Cilento National Park. Other fantastic Campania resorts are on the amazing Amalfi Coast. Ravello, high on a hill, offers stunning coastal views, while Amalfi and Positano cascade down to the sea. Around the peninsula is Sorrento, home to several 5-star Campania hotels, while offshore are the fabulous islands of Capri and Ischia.

Inland Caserta has an impressive Royal Palace with huge gardens, and Avellino nestles in a valley between the port of Salerno and Benevento, site of yet more Roman remains. See Booking.com for an excellent range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Campania.

We spent a lovely week at Le Palme Resort and felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The bungalow was spotless, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach and close to everything we needed. A few moments of noise here and there, but nothing that spoiled our relaxing holiday. The resort’s entertainment team, made our week unforgettable. Their energy, friendliness, and ability to engage both kids and adults really brought the place to life. Every show and activity felt fresh and fun ,it added so much to our holiday We left feeling rested and would happily come back. missing the resort already 😢

Elegant and luxurious stay. Staff very helpful and polite. The room was comfortable and they did housekeeping twice a day. The property is so green and has comfortable sitouts everywhere. The infinity pool is amazing and so is the thermal spa which was complimentary. They even gave us a farewell gift of tomato sauce and pasta which we loved. This clearly is one of my best stays ever - i have stayed across 5 stars over the world but this experience is the most memorable and i will always remember. Thanks Team Monastero S & R!

We spent 5 nights here to attend a wedding in the area, we had 5 children with us, 2 teenagers and 8,10 and 11. The hotel was spotless, pool was gorgeous, play area for children, the reps in the kids club came looking for the children to join. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were very pleasant. A ring belong to my daughter fell down the drain in the bathroom, it was of sentimental value to her, they didn't hesitate to help and got the ring from the pipe for her. Highly recommend.

A city with character, many tourists but also quite dirty.

A city with character, many tourists but also quite dirty. The metro helps a lot in transportation. Avoid visiting it in summer with high temperatures. It is really hot... Be careful with drivers, especially of motorcycles, who drive very fast in the narrow streets and pedestrian streets and pass by pedestrians. It has attractions and you can eat pizza. The locals are polite.

We visited Sorrento after spending some time in Amalfi and Positano, and it was a completely different experience. We were actually very happy that we had left Sorrento until the end of our trip. Compared with Amalfi and Positano, Sorrento felt quieter, less crowded and more affordable. It was also much easier to walk around and explore at a relaxed pace. There are plenty of beautiful sea views, lovely open-air gardens and nice places to stop and enjoy the surroundings. After the busier atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento was the perfect place to slow down and finish our trip. We really enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere and would definitely recommend including it in an Amalfi Coast itinerary.

I have been here many times and it's a good alternative to staying in Sorrento - ie you are visiting the Amalfi coast. Salerno offers you a good spot from where you can visit Amalfi, Caserta, il Vesuvio, Pestum and many other spots in the area. I highly reccomend Vetri as the beach to visit for an afternoon and then have dinner-- it's close and easy. Salerno is the other side of Amalfi if you are considering Napoli as the place to stay to visit Amalfi- I have stayed in Sorrento as well. Keep in mind getting in and out of the Amalfi coast requires driving very windy roads. Other fact to consider that Napoli is only 1'10" by fast train from Rome- Salerno is a little farther.
