AustraliaThe entire stay was perfection. From the warm staff that exceeded our expectations in terms of service - always welcoming us with a friendly smile - to the beautiful hotel design and rooms. Staff were attentive and paid attention to detail with the night room service even preparing slippers and the beds. We were here for a celebration and the extra touches were so lovely and memorable. The spa is a must it is wonderful to relax and Clara was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful. Breakfast was phenomenal with a huge range of options from the Al a Carte menu to the beautiful buffet with local produce. The pool was the perfect spot to relax at and the terrace was great with the live music to enjoy sunset at. Concierge was helpful in organising day trips and even boat tickets back to the mainland. We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back.

Even though it was incredibly hot while we were there, the location of our lodging was above the harbor and lovely. It was a very realaxed two days after a 30 day trip that included France, Spain and Italy. We took the bus to Blue Gotto - which ended up being the way to do it. If you book a boat tour it does not give you priority to get into the little boats that go to into the grotto. Better to go by bus and stand in line for the small boats.

so much nicer than Capri town!--less people and less hassle. Good selection of shops, restaurants and excellent bus & taxi service. Generally flat once arrived in centre and therefore easy to walk around.

Anacapri is the best place to stay when visiting Capri.
Anacapri is the best place to stay when visiting Capri. It is far less expensive and, frankly, easy-going than Capri, and during the summer months you will appreciate the slightly cooler temperatures. The island is well-served by buses (though they can get very cramped and you may have to wait), and staying in Capri makes some places closer but others less accessible, so it's really a wash.

If you come to Capri island, stay definitely overnight...
If you come to Capri island, stay definitely overnight instead of just one day boat trips when you spend the day in crowds of tourists. After 5pm when the boats leave, the real local calm atmosphere appears. We liked staying in Anacapri because is less touristic and posh than Capri town, which is just 15 min by bus easy to reach. You have in Anacapri the chairlift to Monte Solaro which is a must see place and the best thing is to go up at around 4-5 p.m. and come back down the hill by feet. Nobody, nowhere - just you, nature, views and if you are lucky - herd of goats. For swimming is definitely cool to go the final bus stop "Faro". Bus starts from Anacapri and it takes approx. 15 min. Also wonderful to visit is Villa St. Michele in Anacapri.

Stunningly beautiful island with a lot to see. Unfortunately Capri is of course super touristic with the main city Capri filled with thousands of tourists every day in the small city lanes. Getting around the different parts of the island can be stressful with waiting in queues to get into the small buses. The buses are really full almost all the time. The Anacapri town higher on the hill is much more local and quieter with beautiful houses and nice restaurants compared to the Armani shops etc in Capri town. The bus ride with the local buses cost 2,40 € each time so that was very ok. The luxiourusly looking convertible taxis are apparently very expensive, didn’t try any.

It was beautiful, and we (a group of 4 women) felt safe and comfortable. There was plenty of exploring to be done, walking up and down hills. Locals were friendly and nice to us tourists. Could have stayed for longer! This is the best and nicest place I have visited in years.

We had really great time! Il Carrubo is a charming place, where pieces of a family history meet modern comfort, creating unique atmosphere. It is managed by young trio Alice, Corino and Michele, very nice people with whom we had long and pleasant talks about house, Capri and Italy. Oh, and of course the food… whether it is breakfast with the sea view or pasta they do for you at request - everything was delicious and with true home feel. It was our first visit to Capri, but we will be back!

This hotel made our trip fantastic. It is just few steps from the Anacapri center and it has beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoy everything. Rita will give you many recommandations how to spend your time on Capri at all. She also recommend us a great restaurant. Don´t forget the sunset at Faro...

It was lovely and clean, a perfectly situated hotel in Anacapri, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, super housekeeping. Lovely fresh and new towels. Excellent front of house.
We were so well looked after by the lovely Maria, she gave us some fantastic tips and places to visit. An amazing stay. Highly recommend

Super cozy place, near the Anacapri bus stops. Extremely clean, nice breakfast and Salvatore was super helpful in helping find the best places in Capri and Anacapri. Would recommend this place for sure.
