Everything was PERFECT! Comfy, stylish, clean, spacy room with private bathroom, lots of space to store my belongings. Also huge private terrace with beautiful view on the city and arm chairs where you can chill. Breakfast was very tasty, especially croissants and coffee! Location very quiet, not directly in the city center but there is metro, train and bus connection nearby so there was no issue for me to access city center and other locations in Napoli. Ideal to get a rest from the city rush. Some coffee shops, pastry shops and pizza restaurants nearby are also available. Simona was always very helpful, caring, always available if there was any issue and made sure I had everything I need. If I will ever come back to Napoli I would choose this hotel again.

Location was central, the staff were absolutely amazing, they were fun and very helpful with planning trips around. Breakfast was not very varied but it was delicious nevertheless. There was no parking precisely at the location, but a garage at 3 minutes away, very easy to use and the hosts had a discount for it. The rooms were nice, large and quiet. Very good quality for the money.

Absolutely amazing place, located at the city centre, at the residential building with real and friendly neighbors. At the same time rooms are very quiet. Rooms are also clean, freshly renovated and well equipped with everything you would need for short stay. Parking (for extra cost) located just in a few steps from the building, very convenient. The owner is super kind and easy reachable for advise if needed. The breakfast (included in the room price) is possible at the local patisserie, I would say the best one in the area :) Highly recommend this place!

Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and funicular railways. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of visitable tunnels and even a Graeco-Roman theatre which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artefacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

Didn't spend much time in Naples.

Didn't spend much time in Naples. It was more like a way to get to Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravelo and Capri. I liked the Toledo area but did not enjoy much of the restaurants. It was probably fatigue of almost the same food for 2 weeks.

Great city for a short 7 dages vacation.

Great city for a short 7 dages vacation. It's very noisy but the people are so nice and friendly. Not many speak English so be patient. You really need to love bread, pizza and pasta to stay here haha. But it was a wonderful trip :-)

Naples was a fascinating place where people live, work, and holiday all in one vibrant city. The buildings looked historic, and the streets were full of life, with people going about their daily routines. It was easy to walk around and reach many of the historical sites. The main food served in the restaurants is the famous pizza, which was delicious. The people were friendly and welcoming. The train we took from Naples to Sorrento was very basic and definitely needs upgrading, as the system does not feel up to date. We would love to go back and spend more time discovering more of the area, as we really enjoyed our stay.

One of my favourite cities in Italy, and the world.

One of my favourite cities in Italy, and the world. I have always stayed at the top of the hill, and that keeps me away from the crazy buzz of the city centre, while giving me a great access to it via the funicular trains. (Do be aware of when they stop running though. Otherwise you've got a long walk up the hill) Fantastic food, great people, and a unbeatable buzz.

I should have never travelled to Naples.

I should have never travelled to Naples. Hotel Crisari was a nightmare and horrible. No hot water, cold showers, the bed tilts to the middle from both sides, did not use bed sheets and put the towels on bed and slept on them feeling cold, and we did not try to complain as we were afraid something bad would happen being in Naples Italy. I want my money back.

The apartment we stayed in was absolutely brilliant. Close to the train and bus stations. Shops and eateries close by. The hosts were absolutely lovely people and could not be any more accommodating. Naples itself is a very busy city and the people can be rude. I am half Italian so knew what to say back to them. A good city for Adults but could be dangerous if one ha kids when crossing the very busy roads. Food especially the pizzas are the best. Pompeii is a must.
