Everything was PERFECT! Comfy, stylish, clean, spacy room with private bathroom, lots of space to store my belongings. Also huge private terrace with beautiful view on the city and arm chairs where you can chill. Breakfast was very tasty, especially croissants and coffee! Location very quiet, not directly in the city center but there is metro, train and bus connection nearby so there was no issue for me to access city center and other locations in Napoli. Ideal to get a rest from the city rush. Some coffee shops, pastry shops and pizza restaurants nearby are also available. Simona was always very helpful, caring, always available if there was any issue and made sure I had everything I need. If I will ever come back to Napoli I would choose this hotel again.

Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Naples. After a busy day in Naples and Pompeii, which were very crowded, loud and sometimes dirty, it was very nice to rest in the hotel. This is because the hotel is new, clean, quiet (when the windows are closed) and has many necessary things (e.g. you can drink filtered water from the tap). The host was super nice - he was not annoying, did not ask me to write this review and answered any questions that arose. The location is also good, because it is 5-10 minutes away from the best pizza places, and the place is also close to the bus and train station.

This hotel was in the middle of the action in Naples, an oasis in a chaotic city. The hotel is the cleanest Ive been to, and every single staff member we interacted with was kind and accommodating. This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. I travelled with elderly parents and a very loud child. They treated us with patience and we felt welcome.

Location, view, pool and Antonio, the most wonderful and efficient front desk manager I have ever met in all my frequent travels, he made everything possible and I would wish for such an excellent employee if I were in the hospitality industry. Can't say enough good things about him. Amazing. Last time I stayed at the Belmond Caruso next door and the coastal view of Palazzo Avino is equally excellent. But they don't have anybody like Antonio.

Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and funicular railways. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of visitable tunnels and even a Graeco-Roman theatre which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artefacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

Naples is a stopover for us.

Naples is a stopover for us. We fly into Naples and spend the night before heading to Ischia the next day. We think a couple of days in Naples is plenty. The underground city is worth seeing, and there is a section of the city that reminds me of the Latin Quarter in Paris, which is worth visiting. The pizza in Naples is a must!

An amazing city in an amazing country, we enjoyed the street food, especially in the Spanish quarter where there are a number of bars serving drinks at very good prices. Good connections down to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

The saving grace of Naples for us was Pompeii.

The saving grace of Naples for us was Pompeii. The city was sadly really dirty. We did not expect it to be so unkept. Garbage everywhere, graffitis, etc. We unfortunately don't see ourselves coming back here. Truly a shame since we enjoyed and marvelled in Pompeii so much!

It is essential to check the exact location of your hotel of choice. Rather pay a bit more and get a well-located hotel, with all of the amenities. Best tours are away from Naples, as Naples in itself does not have much to offer. Good eateries situated close to station.

Busy, very busy, chaotic - especially public transport (yikes!!), covered with graffiti and totally wonderful. Naples is so huge it is worth having some idea of what you want to see and where to go, although just wandering is worth doing too. Pompeii is a bucket list 'must do' , and the train journey from Naples very short. BUT that is if the trains are running, the station isn't packed to bursting and you get a seat (unlikely). Our experience of this was so awful, we actually ended up laughing!

When you enter the guest house (on second floor) you feel like you are in a five star hotel. Super clean, chic, beautifully decorated, and the most important thing is the host. Antonella is a very nice, helpful, responsive, generous and friendly. She even helped us with early check-in. Highly recommended and definitely would come back. BTW, it's 2 minutes walk to Metro line 6 and also 7 minutes walk to metro line 2. (Don't use buses in Italy unless you have a weekly ticket, trust me). There are lots of cafes and pizza shops nearby.

Excellent location, clean room, regular cleaning. Small room (not much space to put luggage), but for three nights it was completely fine. Breakfast was packed, but we knew it in advance, so it was fine. We travel to Italy regularly and compared to other visits to Naples, they have very good windows here. It is on a busy street, but the windows are tight, which was not the case with other accommodations. After check-out, we were able to leave our suitcases in the accommodation for 3 hours.

The location was spot on, very close to Naples train station to excess the trains to another part of Italy, the breakfast was lovely and pleasant staff very friendly, and welcoming.The apartment we stayed in was very big room and spacious, good vibes and had its own kitchen and the facilities was spot on. The old man that owned the bb maryposa was nice and welcoming to our stay thank you would highly recommend staying here, if you are visiting Naples for a couple of days.

The accommodation is in the heart of Naples. Anyone who wants to experience the real Italy will not be disappointed. The journey to the accommodation from the central station through a street full of shops is an experience. The owner of the accommodation Anna treated us like members of her own family. The accommodation is close to everything, both on foot or by public transport. The real Italian breakfast at the bar next door together with the locals is also great.
