This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.

What am amazing place! We had the whole castle to ourselves which was pretty special! Of course this meant the restaurant was closed but there are lots of dining options nearby. Anna was delightful and took care of our needs as well as serving the most amazing breakfast ever! The air is fragrant and the village just beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed the stay in Asterias Residence. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The residence was very nice with beautiful garden and the host was super helpful. Definitely can recommend!

The location is excellent, very close to the main square in Pizzo, which makes it easy to get around and explore. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The common areas were also well maintained and nicely equipped. Elena, the host, really made the experience stand out. She’s very attentive and genuinely cares about her guests, going the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. Her hospitality made a great impression.
