The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Reception desk helped me to get hold of some meds I had forgotten. The dining staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a problem with the room refrigerator and the staff helped me out. The food was great, wonderful flavours and great value for money. The reception staff also made our travel arrangements to the Olympics so easy. We didn't even know they gave guests customary travel passes. So with a printed timetable which they also supplied, our trios were easy. I have stayed in many hotels and it's rare to get top to bottom service of such quality. 100% satisfied

Our stay at Pension Sonnenhof exceeded all our expectations. Nice, clean rooms, super friendly people and fantastic food for a good price. Everything is thought of and taken care of. We don't often go to the same place a second time, but we will definitely come here again!

What a lovely place to stay while hiking and visiting around! The room was super cosy with comfortable bed, great heating system and clean, modern bathroom. Oswald - the owner is very welcoming and helpful. The property has spacious parking for guests. Also, the outstanding breakfast every morning is something I will remember for a long time!

The design, vibe and overall feel of the hotel

Perfect 2 days. The hotel and the views were amazing. The owner Gabrielle, was outstanding. We were running late, but Phillips called to check if we were coming and arranged dinner for us after we arrived! Welcomed, greeted and made us feel very comfortable. All the staff were superb, attentive and very professional. Dinner and breakfast was superb. So much choice and freshly cooked. Loved the food. Best place I have stayed in .

Everything. The food (both breakfast and dinners) were above expectation; well balanced and tasty. The spa was great and so was massage with Pietro.

great SPA, two sauna ceremony every day, great equipment for kids as well as for adults only, amazing food, plenty options on breakfast, dinner was excellent, we have enjoyed a lot, very good position for hiking as well as for skiing, just 5 mins by car from cabin lifts on Jochberg or Gitschberg, you can use also ski bus directly from hotel, Malga Fane nice walk for families + hotel's own Masl hut with brunch, very nice daily program organized by hotel, we definitely return in future :)

One of the best family hotels in the Alps—everything is thought through down to the last detail.

We chose the hotel 2nd year in a row since it’s best place to stay in the area :) Hosts are wonderful and thanks to that we could relax in great atmosphere. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and have all utilities we needed. Food is 10/10- top dishes :) location is perfect, we could see the slopes and funiculars from our window :) 1 min walk to the skiing facilities.

Great staff, facilities and views

We stayed at the accommodation for a week to go skiing with a family of 4. The hotel and wellness are fantastic and the food was delicious. Special thanks to our waiter Gabriele for being funny and suggesting superb local wines.

I will definitely be back to this hotel. The front desk / concierge couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. The room was perfect. The spa was better than some 5* hotels I've seen in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The food was all lovely. The location - a bit further away from local amenities but we had a car so didn't matter. Nice hiking routes on the doorstep. Overall a lovely stay.

Exceptional property, value for money, lovely friendly straff, special mention for Andreas, would class as Michelon Star worthy for evening meal and their Sommelier, David, was excellent, breakfast chef was also excellent, husband loved the Omletes cooked to order, my fried eggs were excellent although would have preferred poached
