We had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly & took the time to explain the area to us & help us book day trips! The restaurants around the hotel are really good & you are walking distance to the main square. The rooms are also very clean & the bed is comfy!

Breakfast is in the beautiful restaurant with glass ceiling. Together with the coffee at your choice they provide glass of fresh orange juice - amazing. Coffee was very good :) Food is great. There were bacon and scrambled eggs. Thank you. Nice bathroom. Good hair dryer. Pillows are amazing. Free drinks are available in fridge (water, juice, coke, sprite). Very very helpful staff. Thank you. There are umbrellas available for rainy weather if you forgot yours. Big parking lot very near the hotel. We paid 36 eur for 2 nights.

Perfect location. Interior design was elegant and luxurious. It has its own color reflected in all the aspects from a chair to a very small amenity kit. I love the integration of logo and all the elements of the hotel accomodation.

Friendly staff, decent room design, great food both for room service and breakfast, quiet neighborhood, dog friendly, easy access to other areas such as Portofino.

Cozy room in 500 year old building in the downtown

The room was larger than I expected, very clean and comfortable bed. The bathroom also very clean and everything I needed provided. Breakfast was good, I was able to order fresh fruit salad which was excellent. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Location also excellent, very close to de Ferrari square with the big fountain so good for navigation!

Hotel Major has been the best hotel I have stayed in during my journey through Italy. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Each floor of the hotel is decked out with art and photography of places from all over the world. I was fascinated by this. My room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel Major is located in the old historical part of Genoa. I was amazed with the charm and beauty of the surrounding buildings and laneways. Thankyou so much for a brilliant stay. This hotel is definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend staying here.
