We had a lovely view of the sea and the restaurant was on the roof with a fantastic view! the breakfast options were many. we also had one dinner there and the ingredients were super fresh… my friend had grilled fish and salad, made to perfection! i wasn’t feeling well, and they were sooo kind to make me something very simple… the staff was excellent and kind… taking the care to make sure we were happy… we also loved that it was quiet and away from the tourist scene of taormina..

A beautiful part of Sicily, as it was our 1st visit we have nothing to compare to but we would not hesitate to return to this part. It was rustic and unspoilt by tourism with authentic feel. Lots of lovely beeches, restaurants, cafes and bars!

Giardini Naxos is well located to visit Mount Etna and Taormina. There are plenty of restaurants. Several beaches with sunbeds and also free areas. Lots of different trips are available both by boat and bus. It's a pleasant place to spend a few days and good as a base.

It was a great little town, also walkable. Many different private and public beaches. I went to the public ones which were excellent and had showers. I would definitely go back. Some restaurants were much better quality wise and price wise, I should have read reviews instead of just reading the menus at each place I walked by. You can also get local bus or even walk to Taormina train station. location was just perfect in every way. beaches are pebbles that get real hot and I would wear water shoes. you can snorkel just off the beach too.

Giardini Naxos is a nice place, somewhat a bit touristy but the perfect for a holiday on Sicilys eastern coast. Giardini Naxos is close to beautiful Taormina and is a perfect spot if you want to visit Etna. I would personally recommend renting a car and visiting Etna Nord just for the breattaking view

I liked the setting in a green oasis with a view of Etna. Also liked the decor ( IKEA simplicity) and the feel of cleanliness in the house. And the friendliness of the host. There is nothing I could pinpoint as "not having liked" with my experience of staying at Villa Maria Giovanna.

I came here with 4 friends as part of a cycling holiday. Giardini Naxos is superb as a base for exploring by bike. It is less busy than Taormina but the coast ride (SS114) which runs from Catania to Messina runs straight through the west of the town There are several cycle shops and a very good Cycle Hire company called Cycling Sicily. There are plenty of choices for places to eat and drink. Giardini is also brilliantly placed for cycling up Mt Etna to Etna Nord.
