Grezzana is located near Verona the home of “Romeo and Juliet”. Grezzana itself has some small eateries and a few bars and service station for fuel. There are a number of buses a short walk from the hotel to take you to and from Verona for a few euros and a twenty minute ride if that. I would not bother to drive into Verona, you would struggle to find parking etc. Grezzana is a small place with working vineyards nearby. “La Pergola” is a fantastic hotel and the staff are excellent. They have a restaurant with reasonable prices located inside the hotel. I recommend the hotel highly.

Beautifully furnished spacious rooms with big kitchen where hostess made us 3 freshly baked cakes with coffee juice and bread and jam for breakfast. Really comfy beds and well equipped bathroom. Quite an industrial town but great pizza restaurant our hostess recommended..really friendly and helpful. Great for a 1 night stopover to visit Verona.Thankyou and I would definitely recommend b and B Gemma to other travellers!
We cannot describe how amazing this stay was and how much we loved being there. Paola is the best host we have ever met.
The property is well taken care of, the apartment is cozy and well decorated, the Italian breakfast was fresh and ready every morning as discussed.
Do not be discouraged that the property is off the beaten track. It is well worth it and it is a unique experience.
We also recommend to try and by the local products, high quantity wine and olive oil is available.
everything. the borgo 27 is elegant, refined, luxurious and nestled in a gorgeous hillside full of lovely trees and flowers and an incredible view of the valley below. seriously- absolutely perfect. we didn’t want to leave. mile grazie, donatella!
The room was big and clean. They have a jacuzzi. The breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, yogurth, etc and you can take the breakfast outside. The hotel is 20 minutes far away from Verona city center, in a calm village but with good places to eat.
We had a balcony, the view is nice. There was some basic breakfast, which was not mentioned when we booked. A good hairdresser, not the weak one usually put in hotels. Very clean and spacious room.
Very friendly, helpful and responsive host. Great breakfast with home made cakes. Great location if you do not/cannot stay in Verona. Great Osteria just on the other side of the street.
The host was the best to accomedate me last minute!!! In the morning breakfast and great conversation was fabulous! She gave me so many great tips about Verona! Loveee this place!
