Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning...
Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning of the Reims Valley.
It is conveniently located between Aosta, with its Roman ruins, and Courmayeur with access to Mt. Blanc and the Vallee Blanche.
The Castle is definitely worth a visit for examples of medieval architecture typical of the Aosta Valley.
We also enjoyed a visit to the Parc Animalier, an animal park featuring local fauna and flora, and conveniently located next door to the apartment.
Introd used to be the favorite mountain retreat of Pope John Paul II, and it is possible to visit where he stayed.

The location in Introd was beautiful and very close by to Aosta and to other villages in the area.
The appartment itself was beautiful, spacious and comfortable.
We had a lovely time and also got great advice from Eloise and Paola on restuarant and activities in the area.
They were both very warm and nice and communication was easy.
We highly recommend!
