Our stay at Palazzo Previtera was simply exceptional and, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The property itself is breathtaking. Nestled in a peaceful location surrounded by nature, it is the perfect place to slow down, disconnect and truly reset both body and mind. Every corner has been designed with incredible attention to detail. The artistic character of the property is absolutely stunning—it feels more like staying in a beautifully curated gallery than in a hotel. Everything is immaculate, elegant and, if anything, even more beautiful than the photos. One evening we had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu at the restaurant, and it exceeded every expectation. The chef has created something truly unique by blending Asian techniques and creativity with the authentic flavours and traditions of Sicily. Every course was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced, and the wine pairing recommendation was outstanding, elevating the entire experience. Breakfast was another highlight. Fresh, abundant and wonderfully varied, with excellent local products and something to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start each day. And finally, the person who made an already incredible stay truly unforgettable—Alfio. Hospitality comes naturally to him. He was always smiling, incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best possible experience. Whether we needed recommendations, advice or help with anything at all, he was always there, yet never intrusive. His warmth, professionalism and passion for what he does are truly remarkable. Beautiful places can be found all over the world, but people like Alfio are incredibly rare. He is the reason Palazzo Previtera feels so special, and the reason we will remember this place long after our trip has ended. If you’re looking for authenticity, beauty, outstanding food and genuine hospitality, look no further, Palazzo Previtera it is :)
