We had a brilliant stay at Santa Maria Resort. The hotel is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and so peaceful, it's a true escape. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and everything is designed with relaxation in mind. Oh, and the pool is just gorgeous. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We loved the calm atmosphere and felt really looked after during our time there. The location is in a gorgeous area and ideal if you enjoy walking or want to be immersed in nature.

We were met by our host Mandelo just outside Oresei and followed him to the property as it was not easy to find. This was not a problem as communication was brilliant. Mandelo made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The villa is anew build in an authentic style with everything that you'd expect. We made good use of the outdoor bbq. The setting is in beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. You will definitely need a car and probably a SUV or 4x4 if your planning to explore the island as alot of the roads in the mountains and beach accesses are unsaved roads.
