Beautiful renovated apartment in an amazing Tuscan town Lucignano. We did not meet the owner, but communication with him was easy. After he opens main door and door of your apartment there is card inside that you use as a key for both doors. We had breakfast in a place nearby (you get voucher card for it), you also have nice restaurants there but don't forget to make a reservation before as we did, especially on weekends. Parking is outside the historic centre, lots od free space to find. We really loved our stay!!

The apartment was clean,modern,spacious and well equipped. The view from the bedrooms of Valdechiano were an added bonus. The apartment was a short walk (slightly uphill) to village centre. Enzo was amazing he picked us up and dropped us off at bus station without us even asking. He was always there for us.

The owners are lovely and very kind people. Everything was super clean and tastefully decorated in Tuscan style. The size of the room and bathroom are great and the setting very beautiful. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee, water and breakfast the offered us. The location is a perfect base to explore both Chianti and Siena areas (about 30 minutes drive).

You need a car.

You need a car. However you can park at the nearby train station & get cheap train travel to other sites. We were there in early June, and already the famous towns of Chianti area were busy. Best restaurant La Tavernetta. Doesn't look much from outside, but if your lucky you can get a seat on the terrace. Great food & staff. 15 min drive to big supermarket in Sinalunga.

Lucignano is a perfect place for quiet, easy holidays with many options to travel around some of the most picturesque places in Tuscany like Val d'Orcia or Chianti. Lucignano itself is a model hilltop Tuscany village, quaint and not too overcrowded.

The best accommodation we had during our stay in Italy. This place turned out to be the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the beauty of this region. The location is excellent. The property itself is very clean and well-maintained. The owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming people who take care of every detail to make guests feel right at home. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful yet perfectly located spot for discovering Tuscany! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Situated in a very old italian medieval walled hill-top village, Il Cassero property is right on the outer walls welcoming you with a beautiful garden and cool villa (literally cool because of the shade and thick stone walls, especially in the summer heat). The interior is antique but well maintained, and the room was large providing all the confort and amenities needed. Lucignano is well situated so travelling times between other Tuscan attractions are short. We will return for sure!
