We chose Lucignano for our stay because we had visited Tuscany before and wanted the experience of a smaller village. It turned out to be the perfect solution to the busyness of Tuscany. The apartment was excellent. High-end fixtures, lots of space, a very comfortable bed, and chairs in the living room we wanted to bring home. The kitchen was compact and very practical, we loved how we could hide it away behind folding doors. The AC was top notch - given our other experiences on our trip this one was so great - not loud and perfectly controlled. We think that the designer had a lighting background because the lighting was sooooo good! If you’re looking for an extremely comfortable (and affordable!) stay away from the hustle that you can come home to and sink into luxury with a lovely bottle of wine this is your spot! Special note - the villagers were very welcoming and over our 3 day stay, we felt at home.

We liked everything. We have been traveling around the world for 20 years, and this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The welcome from Francesca and Fillipo was very easy and with a wonderful atmosphere. The house is a gem, full of details (Francesca has an exquisite taste), the room was perfect for us, very clean, a comfortable mattress, and a huge and well designed bathroom with everything you need. AC SO IF YOU GO IN SUMMER YOU WILL REALLY APPRECIATE. You will be in the countryside, so be ready for insects. They have mosquiyo nets in all their balconies and windows. Also our room had a balcony. Outside, the garden was full of lavander plants, sage, rosemary, lemon tree, 100 olive trees, and a small and perfect gardening with vegetables. If you have time, do not forget to enjoy the hot tub with a glass of wine and the precious location. Read a book on the vintage, beautiful environment. Prepare for Francesca and Fillipo with love just for you. BREAKFAST: I can not express the experience that we have with Francesca and Fillipo homemade breakfast. Let me tell you everything: Baked eggs with local garlic and sauce. Cheese and speck, focaccia, quiche with zucchini and mozzarella, pastry of apricot and cheese, cupcakes, Lemmon cookies, blueberries and blackberries ricotta cake, fresh berries juice, coffee, bruscheta of tomato basil and olive oil (produced from their land), orange jam, I am sure I am missing something...of course the chocolate cookies in our room with a welcome envelope with beautiful recommendations and gifts. Check pictures below. The house is located only 2 minutes to the small town Lucignano. For us, a treasure town to discover. The small and enchanted small streets are so beautiful. No crowed and with very kind and lovely local people. Francesca and Fillipo share wonderful conversations with us. We love to talk and be surrounded by people who are full of good vibes and energy as F&F. We will see you again! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

A friend and I were on a bike ride and this was our first stop. The owners were great! They cold beers for us and since we had been riding all day offered to take us up the hill to a nice local place for dinner. Great hosts and a very comfortable place to stay!

Casa Montalgallo is just outside of Lucignano, a beautiful medieval town. Both Francesca and Filippo came to greet me personally, offered me a welcome drink and did everything to make my stay memorable. In the evening they allowed me to go with them and their family to celebrate the Maggiolata. The room has a nice surprise when you come in and a great view over the valley. Best stay so far in Italy!

Very cozy hotel in the heart of Tuscany, in a very picturesque authentic village. We enjoyed the views, local attractions and cuisine. Chiara welcomming. She was always in touch, helped us resolve all issues regarding accommodation and gave us recommendations on choosing places with good cuisine.

Beautiful grounds, amongst olive groves and forest. Lavanda was a good size for a family of 5 and the veranda area was nice . Short pleasant walk into Lucignano for coffee/drinks.
