From the very first moment, our stay at Sunset Maida was exceptional. We were welcomed with a delicious Brasiliana drink and immediately made to feel not simply like guests, but like friends. The two brothers took the time to explain everything personally and were always available whenever we needed advice or assistance. The small touches made an enormous difference: the bread served with their own olive oil, their excellent recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit and things to do, and above all their extraordinary warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality. I worked for many years as a flight attendant and have stayed in thousands of hotels and accommodations all over the world, yet I can sincerely say that I have rarely, if ever, experienced this level of personal attention and hospitality. Nothing felt forced or commercial; everything came from the heart. The accommodation itself was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably cared for, but what truly makes Sunset Maida unforgettable are the people behind it. We spent realy great holiday here. The place is great for its location. 25 min to Tyrheninan see, 45 min to Ionian see and 25 min from Lamezia Therme airport. We rent a car and spent one week by driving and exploring really beautifull Calabria region. Small beaches close to Tropea are amazing with almost no people. Generally the sea in a "Costa degli dei" is beautifull. The house is located in a montains (700 m above see) which is great in the hot summer with average temperature 5°C less than in a coast, which is really comfortable especially in the evenings. The house was well maintained, really beautiful with great atmosphere. Special thanks to Giuseppe (owner of the house) who is 24/7 available. No issues with any requests, even I did not speak Italian. We received many advices and recomendations from him in regards what to visit, interesting places, etc... We really spent great family holiday here which we will remember for long time.

It is a tiny but very comfortable place, newly renovated and very well centered and close to supermarket, restaurant,... . The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and made everything for me to feel home. Equipments are almost complete and if something would be missing, they would take care of it immediately. The breakfast is to be taken in a caffetteria/pasticceria that is close to the house and have very good coffee and cornetti. Clearly recommended, and very good price to quality ratio !
