In the heart of the city, a great location with a beautiful view. I was also delighted to see the nearby playground for child, which has plenty of activities for children of all ages. Breakfast was really good and delicious. I highly recommend it!

Location away from busy Malcesine central. Incredible mountain side view. Great pool and spa plus balcony overlooking lake Garda. Breakfast was excellent. Reception and restaurant staff 10/10 kudos to Emily on reception for her professionalism politeness and perseverance to solve any little issue on our arrival. The host could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was beautifully presented with an extensive choice of freshly prepared options. Our room was clean, spacious and airy with a lovely balcony. The location was ideal, being a short stroll to any of the lakeside promenade, boats across the lake, the pedestrian cobbled streets of the old town or the chairlift to the mountain top.

Christina and Monica, were absolutely amazing. Warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily and everything inside feels new, and recently renovated. The breakfast each morning was another highlight. There’s a great variety, with high-quality options to choose from, and the pastries were especially delicious. We were greeted with a warm welcome and this approach continued for the whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was beautiful, right on the edge of the lake and our balcony gave us spectacular views of the lake. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Loved Malcesine.

Loved Malcesine. It was at the north of the lake so slightly cooler than the south (but this is welcome when its really hot!) You have things there to visit, the cable car up Monte Baldo, you can hop over to Limone, buses are easy to get to Riva and if you do want to go down south there is a boat trip to Sirmione and Bardolino. We were actually going to stay in Garda but I changed it last minute to Malcesine and Im glad I did

Scenery is stunning . Very relaxing.

Scenery is stunning . Very relaxing. Ideal for lazing around and relaxing by the lake. If you prefer to be more active then there’s an array of water activities you can enjoy, for example , boat hire, kite surfing, paddle boarding, water skiiing , swimming in the lake and more. If you prefer shopping then there’s plenty of shops to choose from. If none of this suits, then go hiking, take a trip up the mountains n the ski lift or take a boat trip ro one of the towns/ villages dotted around the lake. All within easy reach if you want a day out are Verona and Venice.

Beautiful small town, with narrow cozy streets, restaurants, shops, rocky shores. The water temperature at the beginning of summer is only good for the brave. If you want good pizza or Italian food, go to Restaurant Pizzeria Malcesine Da Pedro, a very cozy place and the food is delicious. There are also 2 larger supermarkets for shopping, we bought here at Supermercato Eurospar Malcesine. Monte Baldo should not be missed. If you are interested in motorboating, you can rent up to 40hp without a boat driving license..

|Malcesine is a beautiful small town by the lake Garda.

|Malcesine is a beautiful small town by the lake Garda. There are a range of shops and restaurants with excellent local food. The lake front is clean and gorgeous. The views of the mountains are amazing. There is a cable car that can take you up to the top of the mountains with stunning views and wonderful walks. Lake boats can take you to other towns across the lake e.g. Lemon. The castle and the museum are also worth a visit.

Malcesine is nice but it is very crowded.

Malcesine is nice but it is very crowded. There are mostly German tourists everywhere. This is nothing against the German tourists, just that there were a lot of them for such a small lakeside town. Also, the restaurants we ate at were essentially tourist food factories with mediocre Italian food. Sadly, people were giving these restaurants highly rated reviews, but the food was meh. Not sure if these folks have ever been further south in Italy. You can knock Malcesine out in a day, including Mt Baldo.

Malcesine has an old centre of cobbled pedestrian streets...

Malcesine has an old centre of cobbled pedestrian streets filled with shops, bars and eateries. There is extensive lakeside walking/cycling in both directions from the village centre. There are fairly frequent ferries from the harbour across the lake and onwards to the north end, or towards the south end. The chairlift to either a halfway point or to the top of Mount Baldo gives access to both amazing views and extensive walking/hiking/mountain biking opportunities. The lake is a haven of different watersports too. In a small area Malcesine can provide a busy buzzing atmosphere or complete 'away from it all' peace.

The property stood in beautiful gardens and overlooked lake Garda . The room was very clean with a lakeside view and balcony. Breakfast was great - a very good choice from hot food to fruit and cereal. There was a bus stop a few yards away which ran into Malcesine for a few euros and two restaurants a few minutes walk , lakeside which we enjoyed .We would like to say a huge thanks to Giovanna who was such a helpful and informative host and who made our holiday even more comfortable!

The hotel is surrounded by an olive grove where cars can also be parked. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable with balconies and everywhere is very clean. The staff is very kind and attentive to all guest requests. The breakfast with fresh and quality products is for all preferences: cold meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables. A wonderful hotel for visiting the Lake Garda area. We highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing smaller hotel with a family atmosphere outside the main crowded centre of Malcesine, but 10 minutes walk from the beach of Lake Garda. Absolutely fascinating breakfast that you don't get even in the best so-called luxury hotels. Everywhere clean, staff helpful and smiling. Definitely recommended!
