Manarola was a great town with beautiful views by the sea. It had nice eating options including one by the sea with great photo ops of the town, harbor and sea. It was probably my favorite picturesque town of the 5.
We loved visiting Cinque Terre and only wish we could have stayed longer (we only stayed one night)...we would have liked to have visited the other towns, which are easy to see by the short train rides between all 5 towns.
It is a wonderful hillside town with great views of the water. Easy access to the other Cinque Terra towns as well as the train station and amenities. The grocery was steps away so we could get food to make our meals.
One of the most picturesque towns of Cinque Terre, But also quite tiny. Beware tourists flock to the area during the day so I recommend heading out to other towns and coming back at night. Make a reservation at Trattoria Billy for sunset and hike around the town for spectacular views. Nessun Dorma also a must for views and snacks. Be prepared to wait. We also took a pesto making class at the cooking school. They do wine tastings as well. Many shops and restaurants are closed at least one day a week so beware.
Pretty town but after visiting all 5 towns in Cinque Terre, I would stay next time in Monterrosso or even better still, Chiaviva - about 1/2 hour outside Cinque Terre. Why? Because no tourists and it’s a beautiful town - stay there and do a day trip to Cinque Terre. The problem with CT is that regardless which town you are visiting, between 10am - 6pm they are just overrun with tourists. Before 10am and after 6pm, the majority leave and then the towns are lovely
We stayed 3 days at the cinque terre...depending on how you want to spend your time two days might be enough but we wanted it to be relaxing. Manarola as well as the others terre are spectacular....owesome!! If you like to walk and hike try the paths from corniglia to vernazza and from vernazza to monterosso At manarola we ate at ‘trattoria da billy’...indeed too expensive for what you eat and service was not good. The second night we tried ‘il porticciolo’...better prices, food and service. Try it! For lunch try ‘pastakeaway’ it’s great!

Close into town, comfortable beds, clean, great host. The tv stopped working and within minutes Emanuela was there to fix it. Close to good restaurants and a good size space for a short stay. Small view of the sea, 2 minute walk to the ocean and train station. Emanuela gave a thorough rundown of all the different towns in Cinque Terre and best places to swim etc.

As mentioned in a previous review, the photos of this property really don't do it justice. The bedrooms and living areas are all very spacious, and the balcony gives fantastic sea and town views. Although in the heart of the town centre, the balcony doors shut out any noise. I would highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to this beautiful part of Italy.

Service, location, view, facilities La Torretta is the highlight of our trip in Cinque Terre. We could have just stayed in the hotel and still have a great time. The service is fantastic. They provide you with whatever you need, very attentive. Will come back again! Thank you very much Tari and Gabriele!

Excellent accommodation. Wouldn’t change a thing. The location is also beautiful and even though it’s a bit of a walk up the hill, you get spectacular views of the sunset right from your deck. One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy. Elevator makes getting luggage upstairs convenient.

The room is clean and quiet with an amazing view. You can see the sea and Manarola from your window. The room is around 300 m far from the train station (and from the town center). It’s a very good solution to explore Cinque Terre. Highly suggested.

Really clean. Really spacious. I hiked the cinque terre in one day and booked this hotel to rest. I got to check in before my hike and leave my stuff which was good. Then I got to rest overnight. Manarola is beautiful.

This is probably one of the best located apartment in Manarola, the vest village in the Cinque Terre. On the Main Street, very close to the sea. It has a nice balcony overlooking the street. Lovely stay

Good grief, what an amazing view! Loved this property where our room felt like we were living at the top of the world! We had view of the ocean and charming Manarola from both sides of our clean, comfy room (nice bed...we stayed in a five-star hotel just after with a terrible mattress, yours was fabulous!). Landlord not on site, but amazingly helpful with directions and photos to get to La Storie (up, up, up the hill!). I can't think of a bad thing to say. Just the advice others have echoed: Manarola is EXTREMELY vertical, and if you pack a huge bag, you'll have to drag it up hills and steps! So pack light, and then enjoy the amazing views!

The place was right in the middle of the little town of Manarola so we felt one with the locals. During the day we would walk around in our bathing suits and at night go to dinner at a spot 3 minutes away on foot. This place made cinque terre even more of a dream then it already is and we would recommend this stay to anyone. The fresh towels everyday was great as well.
