Fantastic location. Amazing Uninterrupted sea views and of Manarola. Easy walk from train station with no steps . (Accommodation has steps) . Very quiet . Clean and tidy . Kettle , fridge and plates/bowls/cutlery supplied to allow basic self catering . We stayed in the terrace room which had a large deck with sun beds and table which was handy to rehab after day of walking .

The location is excellent and the property manager was very helpful! She met us at the door and explained everything about the property and provided helpful tips about the village and the 5terre region. Also, on the day of our departure there was an unplanned train strike and she gave up heads ups so we can plan better our departure from 5terre. Cannot help her enough for that! Directions to the room were the best of all the places we...

Directions to the room were the best of all the places we stayed for our month in Italy. Communication was above and beyond and when we arrived we were blown away by the cleanliness, the amenities and generously stocked fridge, very needed after a long day of travelling. Any questions were promptly answered and knowledge of area and offer to help with Lovers Walk access was wonderful. We can't wait to come back and stay here again

Great village to be based if you want to explore Cinque...

Great village to be based if you want to explore Cinque Terre. The train station is only a short walk from everywhere and there are various food options for breakfasts and dinners. The village itself is very cute and we could see everything in half a day.

3 nights was enough to see Manarola a lot.

3 nights was enough to see Manarola a lot. We swam, had dinner nightly, met the locals in the wine bar just above the church and visited 2 other towns. Our hotel room was at the very top of the town, and then up 3 flights of stairs. It was a very steep hill. Be sure you know where your hotel is, it's a very vertical town.

Manarola was the perfect base for us; clean, all amenities on doorstep, train every 8 minutes or so, good choice of eateries & clothing/gift shops. Manarola is beautiful to walk around morning, noon or evening - we felt very safe. All towns in Cinque Terre are stunning but Manarola was our favourite. Its size, amenities and busy/quieter area made it the perfect combination. We hiked the Blue Trail over three days with lots of walking and exploring in between. Our favourite trail was Corneglia to Vernazza.

The early mornings and evenings were quite peaceful. It gets fairly busy after 9am. I did take a trip to most of the other villages but found this one to be the best. You can get a rail ticket for the whole day, so hop from town to town. More easily accessible and good value for money. The food was good, has gluten free places, people were lovely. Water was great to swim in and the weather was perfect. Always validate train and bus tickets...big fines 40 euro and up.... if you don't.... even if you buy your ticket, no fare evasion....no leaniency given....I learnt the hard way. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Felt like tourist are targeted in that respect. Shame on you Italy.

Manarola has the prettiest photo opportunities but one has...

Manarola has the prettiest photo opportunities but one has to be able to walk up hills and on cobblestones. It is not a place for wheelchairs, unfortunately. 3 Days was just right for us. The beach is okay for a quick dip but is not large enough for sunbathing. Packing light is also best as rolling suitcases on the streets can rip the wheels right off the suitcases! (We actually saw this happen to someone right in front of us!) We didn’t buy the Cinque Terre pass because it was not possible for us to see all the towns in one day, anyway. We just paid for the train rides we needed.

Affittacamere Da Paulin was the best accomodation we stayed in during our journey in Italy. The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything you might need. There is a cosy little balcony where you can look at the people walking around the central street. But the best thing about the accomodation is its host. Eraldo did absolutely everything our stay in Manarola was pleasant and memorable. Thank you so much! If you are hesitant, don't even think - just book this accommodation and you will have wonderful time in Cinque Terre!

Location was amazing. Right near the water with views. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best we experienced on our trip. The staff were more than happy to help us with booking restaurants for dinner also, and recommending things to do, and places to see. Also helped with our transport arrangements. Can't recommend this hotel enough. One of the highlights of our trip around Italy, and we went to many, many places :)

Location was perfect. In a quiet part of Manarola but still really close to everything. Francesco was extremely helpful and gave lots of advice on the best way to navigate the logistics of Cinque Terre. The accommodation was clean, modern & exactly as pictured. Small balcony was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
