We spent three nights into this really nice property: great location to discover Puglia, great place to relax with a fantastic park, very quiet, with a great room and terrace. And then of course the restaurant: we decided to have all our diners there and enjoy the great dishes and wine. Fantastic value for money in my opinion, and the team was really going out of their way to make our experience memorable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the region!

I love everything about this property. Extraordinary looking, delicious cuisine, perfect location, very clean. I would love to say special thanks for the staff. The host - Tania is very kind and helpful. Warm welcome and chatty! The room is clean and cozy. Window with bright light & fresh air. Bathroom has small window too. Fridge, towels, shampoo/shower gel are provided as description. Common roof-top terrace is good option for morning coffee or early evening glass of wine. Cafe, restaurant and gelato are all around in minutes walk.

Hmm interesting, not a lot of English spoken down this far, we don’t expect people to have to talk English at all, but I think people weren’t confident talking to us so avoided us, they weren’t rude just not too helpful. Parking is quite easy as not busy here. There’s not as much to do here or as many tourist attractions as further north . We enjoyed Lecce very much. But Oria and Manduria not so much. Food was very good when we found somewhere but getting to sit down and feel comfortable was difficult. We didn’t do the beaches as we never stay long anyway but I think we should have given it a go.

A good starting point for destinations by the sea.

A good starting point for destinations by the sea. Manduria is eminently charming although going longer than a week makes it necessary to eat in the same places. The restaurant base is not very large.

We were blown away by this hotel. Very unassuming. Small staff team, 6 rooms. A hotel owned and run by Elisabetta and her husband, Paolo. Very personalised service - they message you asking when you will arrive, have breakfast, etc. - it's because they want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. Beautiful rooms (beds were SO comfortable), delicious breakfast (cheese, meats, fruits, etc.) and coffee, gorgeous gardens and pool. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area - amazing spot to base yourself.

The interior was beautiful with huge arches ceilings. The host was amazing and was on hand for anything and everything, he was friendly, fast at replying via text and helped us find parking which was very close. The B&B was located on a small street off the centre of Manduria.

This is our second time at Palombara which speaks for itself really! We adore everything about it, the intimacy, its rustic luxury, the fact that the staff are the same year on year, it is exactly how I would expect a perfect small luxury hotel to be.
