New hotel, and pretty nicely appointed. The owner of the place is not polished at all when it comes to customer service. He made the comment: Do not touch the thermostat in the room because the temperature was already fine. Well, that's not up to him, is it? It turned out that the digital thermostat was locked, and we couldn't change the temperature anyways although it was hot and humid.

The hosts, Anne and Riccardo, made our stay in Mondovi one of the best ever in our extensive Italian B&B experiences. Anne kindly offered to meet us at the train station and drive us to the apartment. On entering, we were greeted with a warm, homey atmosphere, a tower of fresh fruit, cut flowers from the garden, and a refrigerator stocked with more than enough supplies for our 3 night stay. (Could have easily stayed a week, without going to the market). Going above and beyond the standard B&B requirements, there were robes in the bathroom, a great cozy king sized bed in a large bedroom with ample storage for unpacking and living comfortably. The kitchen was equipped with dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen supplies for easily making meals. The list goes on. Truly a lovely experience, and even better, we saw several hot air balloons from our balcony on Saturday morning. It just added to our overall great experience. Truly enjoyed our stay in Mondovi, thanks to our very friendly hosts and there lovely home.
