Once an ancient fortress, Don Ferrante now offers luxury accommodations in a panoramic location on the cliffs of Monopoli. It features a small pool with hydromassage jets. We were given a suit instead our double room. It was fantastic. Views from the balcony are perfect. One of best hotels I have visited.
Featuring an outdoor pool, Masseria Il Melograno is surrounded by olive trees in the countryside of Puglia, 3.1 mi from Monopoli. It offers a private beach, Tamerici Beach Club, 4.3 mi away. It is a quiet spacious facility with citrus orchards and ancient olive trees - beautiful Great dinners and breakfasts Well located for touring this magnificent area of Puglia.
Offering an outdoor pool and terrace, Masseria Torrepietra is set 1.9 mi from Monopoli in the Apulia Region, and 1.9 mi from the coast. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Excellent Masseria with a bit of modernity too for its purpose. The absence of cupboards and drawers is not practical for travelers. The absence of a light barrier at night is also unpleasant.
Ideally located a few steps from the harbor in Monopoli city center, Palazzo Indelli is a 4-minute walk from a small sandy beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and an LCD TV. This is a fantastic property located right in the main square of Monopoli’s Old Town. Rooms are updated and modern, very spacious and the beds are great. It is walking distance to everything you need in Monopoli, surrounded by restaurants, close to the beach and to all the things you will want to see there. Staff is fantastic and helpful.
Featuring a seafront location in Monopoli, 5 mi from the city center, Torre Cintola Natural Sea Emotions offers a private beach area and 2 outdoor pools. The infrastructure was great. Staff at the reception and the lady who showed us the room were very kind too. Swimming pool and the surrounding were just magical.
Porto Giardino Resort & Spa is surrounded by a pine forest and is located just outside Monopoli, 1.2 mi from the beach in Contrada Lamandia. It offers an outdoor pool, private beach and free parking. The beach is great and you can go there either by shuttle bus or with your own car. The food was o.k., we only took breakfast and it was fine, but nothing special. We are very happy we ate out at the excellent restaurants in the area. Other guests found the lunch and evening buffets o.k., but no one was raving about the food.

Monopoli is a lovely place. Fix it bar is great for music, saw Coldplay tribute band it was brilliant. The Negra Pearl beach club is great for a relaxing day if it is too hot. Bregante B&B is beautiful and very good value for money. On Friday night in the old square there was a jazz band playing lots of old songs they were brilliant. People of Monopoli are very friendly and welcoming, I loved it here and will definitely return.
This town offers the best mix of Italian night life and beach access. Just a short train/car ride to the big city of Bari. There are many holiday makers in Monopoli on the weekend but the majority of them are Italian so if you're looking for a solid Italian experience with all the convenience of a place that caters to tourists, Monopoli Is a great option.
Charming fishing town, way more peaceful than the other coastal cities we've visited nearby. Also great for trying out the local puglian gastronomy. In the morning and in the evening you can even buy fresh fish and seafood directly from the fishers if you go to the port. Not the best one for a beach vacation since the coast is quite rocky and there's almost no sand.
Quaint, pretty Centro Storico, beautiful lunghomare, stunning Basilica - Della Madonna della Madia! Excellent access to Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and other towns in the Valle d’Itari!
Went there to see if it was worth renting or buying a home to avoid going to Florida in the winter months and still play golf. The nearby golf course, San Domenico, is a very nice track worth playing but Monopoli is way too quiet at this time of year. Apparently, the hustle and bustle doesn't start until mid-April in this very charming seaside town. While a nice setting for me, it would not be a place where my wife would want to be in January, February and March. Not much to see or do. Would definitely go back in the early summer as it looks like a very charming town.
Definitely a worthy stop on our Puglia road trip. Monopoli is beautiful, old town and the new as well. Check out the fishing boats that sell fresh seafood in port, take a walk through the narrow streets and passages of old town and enjoy the smell that pours out of residents windows as they cook. Monopoli is good as a base to visit nearby sights (Alberobello, Castellana cave, etc). Check out the main church, amazingly rich and beautiful.

Everything. Alessandra is the perfect host, helping me with directions, restaurant recommendations, fulfilling a last-minute laundry request, and rescuing me when I locked my key in my room. The room was one of the best I've ever had in a bed and breakfast, very peaceful and tranquil and clean. The location was perfect, perhaps a little far from the train station but you could still walk there in 10 to 15 minutes. And as far as Monopoli, I would retire there in a second. Thank you Alessandra for one of my best experiences ever in Italy!

An amazing appartment in the center of monopoli, right next to the ocean. Big rooms, sparkling clean and very authentic. Cesare, the owner is the nicest man you will ever meet. He is always beaming with a big smile on his face, and his hapiness is speard al around. He was in contact with us from the moment we did the booking, helped us with our parking and luggage, and even made us breakfast to go (with home made pie!) because we had an early flight. Just the best host in the best town.

The apartment is great. It’s is located near the historic center in a super convenient neighborhood with a lot of shopping options both for food and other, and only a 10 minutes walk to the beach. Valeria is very communicative and really nice. Her suggestion for a place to eat dinner was excellent. The apartment is really clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and two bathrooms are a really nice plus. I would definitely stay there again the next tine I go to Monopoli

Very cozy apartment located in the quiet part of the old town. At the same time it takes just a couple of minutes to get to a beach or busy streets with some nice restaurants. The hosts are very friendly people, always ready to help you. We've got access to the rooftop terrace. Air conditioning and WiFi have worked wonderfully. Kitchen have been fully equipped. Breakfasts was nice. As we don't eat that much, we've left for snacks during the day.

Perfect location and central to the old town and marina. Close to lots of restaurants and beautiful scenery. Owner was really helpful and quickly helped us with any problems we had (managed to lock ourselves out!). The accommodation was filled with many little extras such as drinks, biscuits, toiletries etc. Overall extremely good value for money and would recommend for a couple/small family for a quiet and cosy getaway.

Very nice welcome from Gianluca. His apartment is beautifully light and decorated in whites and blues throughout giving it a very fresh and stylish look. He has made the very best of the space. Perfect location, quiet but in the heart of the old town. The steps to the terrace are indeed steep but they do get much easier with practice and all Monopoli terraces will have a similar challenge. A wonderful 8 days!

The hosts, Maria & Filipo, make your stay and holiday just perfect. They welcome you every morning with the smile you need to start your day just positive. They prepare you the best breakfast in Monopoli. And they guide you so well that you will visit the best places and beaches around. Cleaning is provided every day so your room will be as welcoming as at your first day. I strongly recommend.

Incredible accommodation. Dimora Madina is wonderfully stylish with modern features whilst sticking to its Puglian roots. Barrel shaped ceilings and exposed stone walls allow you to immerse yourself into Puglian life. Located a short walk from great bars and wonderful restaurants makes Dimora Madina the perfect stay if visiting the beautiful town of Monopoli

Viviana was the best host. Couldn't do enough for us and even let us change to a bigger room for a few nights. She helped us book some tours and transfers as well and kept in touch all the way through arriving and departure. Great location for exploring Puglia.

The room is very confortable, clean and pleasant (luxurious without being ). Staff is beloved and worry about you (Katia is incredible). Location also the best one (right inside the old town and in front of the ocean).
