Located in Monopoli, a 4-minute walk from Capitolo Beach, Hotel Residence La Corvetta has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I came here with my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 small kids) and we booked the family suite with 2 bedrooms. The suite was perfect! It included a spacious balcony, small kitchen with fridge and the air conditioning works great (very important for Puglia in the summer). The location is perfect, walking distance to an amazing beach, good restaurants (highly recommend Elia and L'Ancora, just make sure to know some basic Italian or have your google translator). The hotel has a great breakfast buffet, and a very nice pool. The hotel staff was very accommodating, they helped with making restaurant reservations, site seeing and helped us with any kid stuff. Monopoli is a 10 minute drive, beautiful city with restaurants, sites, shopping and there is a great grocery store called Familia in Monopoli (important for families). The hotel has plenty of free parking and you do need a car here (driving is really easy in Puglia as long as you have navigation with your phone). We had a great time here and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel in Monopoli
With a beach 0.9 mi away, Hotel Masseria Fortificata Donnaloia is a restored farmhouse 820 feet from the seaside. The restaurant is a converted hay barn with roof terrace. This is a charming hotel, extremely relaxing and definitely with a character. Our room (26) was one of the best rooms we stayed in. However, keep in mind, there was no shower, just a jacuzzi with a pullout handle. It didn’t bother us. Hotel staff was very friendly. It was nice chatting to young gentlemen at breakfast specifically. Location is perfect. 10 minutes walk to the beach, but if you need beach umbrellas and chairs, you need to either drive for 7 minutes or take hotel’s free shuttle. Keep in mind that there is a pick up schedule to go back to the hotel, you can’t just leave any time you want. There was one minor thing that bothered us. The breakfast started at 8 am, which is kinda late for us and for the industry standard, but, hey, it’s Puglia, I haven’t met a single tourist who spoke language other than Italian. It was definitely a 5 star experience and we will be recommending Masseria Donnaloia to our friends.

It's a perfect base for travelling around Apulia - especially if you plan to travel by trains only. If you feel adventurous, you can reach in 7 minutes Polignano a Mare, in 38 - Bari, in 45 - Brindisi in 1h 15 min - Lecce - all are well worth visiting for a day trip. If you prefer to stay in Monopoly - also a great choice, there is LOADS of city beaches here and Capitolo area, with amazing, sandy beaches is just 7km away (from 15th of June there is bus link connecting Monopoli and Capitolo). If you want to have dinner in a charming restaurant - Monopoli old city is there to offer you a great choice of local restaurants, great ice creams and tasty tiramisus. And the last thing - this is also a historic city, you'll find many beaitiful churches, criptos and city walls to visit - don't hestitate, visit Monopoli!
Quite and beautiful city. impressive cathedral. but, apart of the cathedral, most of the historical churches were closed. also at the castle , I could visit only a few rooms where a private exhibition took place. plenty of restaurants , bars and coffee places. beautiful sea sights.
Easily walkable, history, waterfront walkway, great restaurants (try Carlo Quinto on the waterfront and La Piazzetta in Piazza Garibaldi) and shops, Centro Storico (historical center) is sooo very picturesque and it is a perfect base to travel to other sites in the region: Polignano da Mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo and even to Matera in the Basilicata region. Train is easily accessible and can take you even farther afield to Bari to the north and Lecce to the south
Beautiful place to visit, but be mindful of the amount of litter/rubbish on the outskirts of the city. Plenty of places to eat offering local fish dishes. If you arrive by car, ensure you plan were to park up as some areas are restricted to permit holders. The old town is a great place to walk around, offering plenty of places to eat and drink. The harbour area is active with fishing boats both large and small. The eatery "King Street Food" is a great place, offering street food at its best.
We loved our 2 night stay in Monopoli......4 days in total would have been perfect. It's a very pretty little town 20 minutes south of Bari on the east coast of southern Italy. It is very scenic. While we were there also went to Ostuni.
Amazing little town in Puglia, close to Bari e other beautiful places in the region. It has a new and old town, of course the old town is gorgeous with the typical architecture of the region, small streets, great cafes and restaurants. Very pleasant for a walk at any time of the day. There are not big and sandy beaches. There 3-4 small rocky ones, but very beautiful with clean water. Definitely recommend!
Monopoli
In all my years of travel Anna is hands down the best host I’ve ever had. The house is perfect. It’s located about 10-15min walk from the train station and 5min from the main beach. Cafes, grocery, pharmacy are all also walking distance. I’m so glad I picked Monopoli as my pied à terre to explore Puglia and even more glad I picked Anna’s place. It was clean, quiet, amenities are modern but the place has lots of cachet. Would stay there again anytime.
Monopoli
The location of this property is right in the heart of Old Town Monopoli! You can walk right out of the hotel and everything is within a 5 minute walk. The room was very modern with updated appliances. As far the staff, Pietro, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. He even upgraded us to a better room because it was vacant for the days we were staying there! First class service through and through.
This is the perfect base from which to explore Monopoli. Located right in the heart of town surrounded by plenty of restaurants, Palozzo Indelli exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the high ceilings and spaciousness of our (quiet) room and the wood floors. Breakfast buffet was a good start to the day. This hotel is on the upper end of the “four star” scale!
Monopoli
Great location. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable, and the bedroom had an ensuite. Best of all was the host Rosa who from th start made sure our stay was perfect. She met us on arrival and was so helpful and generous with her time and recommendations explaining everything about the accommodation and Monopoli. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Rosa.
Monopoli
Well located in the old town which means we could not accès with our own car. But they advised us where to park outside the old town and came to pick us up with a free shuttle. Dropped us back as well at our own convenience. The hotel has its own cafe where they serve the buffet breakfast with a good variety of products. Both the rooms and the cafe are on a small quiet place.
This would have to be one of the best hotels I've been lucky enough to stay in. The staff were incredibly kind and receptive, there to help with any needs from booking restaurants OR transport. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the hotel location was perfect. A tranquil, calm oasis. We so look forward to staying with you again in the future.
Monopoli
Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Rooms and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and modern. Wifi worked fast and good. Paolo was the best host by far. Served us a delicious breakfast that he prepared himself with pastries, eggs, coffee, juice. The best B&B that I have stayed in Italy. I'd definitely recommend and stay again.
Location was good to visit quite a few places, Mola di Bari, Monopoli, Alberobelo, etc. Although you need a car for everything. Breakfast was good enough. Room was clean and good space. The best part was Emmanuella who helped us a lot to plan our days as the weather was not as expected. Also she recommended us some good restaurants nearby.
Monopoli
Perfect location in Monopoli and Monopoli in fact is the best location in Puglia at all! Wonderful design of the rooms, the dining room, etc- the place has been decorated with the great taste and it seems to be completly new. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfasts. Highly recommended- worth to coming back. Grazie mille!
Monopoli
Great location and really great room. Can walk to a couple little beaches, and easy drive into Monopoli and Polignano. Best thing about this spot is Pietro, the Property Manager! Available to answer all of your questions, bring you breakfast, make amazing recommendations. Definitely recommend!
