SmArt Hotel Bartoliniis located 984 feet from the hot springs in Montecatini Terme. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar and make use of free Wi-Fi access throughout. We stayed for two weeks and had a great experience. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was approximately the size of a business-class hotel room in the US (quite large for Italy), and the price was extremely reasonable, especially given the central location. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, easy, good value for money. On the opposite side, I found it quite frustrating to not be able to enter the hotel after coming from a late gala dinner, because ... the door was locked. Knocks on the door and calls didn't work, it took me over 20 minutes at 3am to be able to get hold of someone who came to open the door.

We stayed at a wonderful family run hotel (Hotel Torretta). The city is a beautiful place for strolling and is a good base for touring the region. It is approx. half way between Pisa and Florence, and driving around is very easy.
If you like armony, tradition and nature you can't go wrong with this place. Located nearby beautiful old cities (Pisa, Lucca, Firenze just to name a few) to visit. Perfect if you like walking... just bring comfortable shoes.
The town has its sleepy parts and its vibrant parts and all walking distance. I loved the difference of old versus new and the buildings are fantastic. Moments from and iconic building where you drink the water of the area to aid digestion and health!
Beautiful city central to Florence and Pisa. Montecantini Alto was a cool tram ride up the side of the mountain to a small village that over looked the entire valley. Worth the trip to Montecantini Terme. The natural spring spa was beautiful. Very cool little town. Lots of really really good Resturant's. Go visit Fabio at Pizzoteca and Tell them James and Eric from USA sent you!!!!
It's an underappreciated town in a beautiful setting - a huge park surrounded by the mountains where you could relax while taking mineral water baths, soaking in a pool filled with mineral water or getting mud wrappings and a massage. The tranquility is the main emotion here. Definitely worth spending at least 3 days. Conveniently located for day trips to nearby gems like Lucca (25 minutes by train)
Montecatini is a beautiful small town centrally located about an hour by train from Florence. We chose it based on recommendations from friends as we didn't want to stay in a large city with so many people. Our hotel Montecatini Palace was a 10+ Just perfect, located on a scenic, quiet street lined with mature trees; the city park was just a short walk away. The nearby Piazza has numerous restaurants & shops (some very high end),, which offered different items from what we saw in so many other shops. Took the funicular to Montecatini Alta, scenic but not much to do. I suggest going at lunch or dinner time so you can enjoy the ambiance. Train station is just a short walk away so it's easy to explore the many nearby towns. Loved it

Clean rooms with fine balcony. Location is very good and Montecatini Terme is beautiful small town with fine restaurants, cafes and shops. Easy connection to other towns in Tuscany. Very friendly staff and helpful, Marianne in reception was amazing. Great roof pool with beautiful view over the area. Safe to park the car in the street. Breakfast is good with huge selection of foods. We also had there dinner one evening and it was perfect.

The hotel is from the 80's. It is not a 4 star hotel. Probably 3 stars would be the correct ranking, even thought I stayed at better 3 star hotels. Maybe the classification from Italy is different than other countries. The parking on the street costs 1 euro/hour from 8-20. The breakfast is OK- omelete, bruschete, cheese, ham, cereals. For 50 euros per night a double room it was realy convenient. The wi-fi works fine.

Good location, close to the train station. The rooms are cleaned every morning, staff was very courteous & helpful. Has a SPA service which is very convenient, you can go back to your room after a relaxing massage. The hotel is beside a restaurant that has a singer every evening w/ good music you can listen to just sitting in the hotel’s front patio. Nice stroll to several shops.

Breakfast and dinner was excellent - food was tasty and quite healthy. It wasn’t overly salty or sweet. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Public parking through the hotel was about 3€/day. Clean rooms.

Almost nothing, the only shade for a car if you succeeds in finding a place. The staff who served breakfast was very kind. Otherwise Montecatini Terme is a beautiful place. We only slept in the "hotel", and every day we visited Florence, Siena, Pisa, the sea

This hotel was the perfect location and the staff was very friendly. We loved the little town and how close it was to the train station. They were many restaurants to choose from however our favorite restaurant ever was Bistro del Corso within walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable. The outlets were scarce for charging our phones and electronics but we had several charging stations on our one plug that we brought from USA. Front desk was always helful and parking was not as difficult as what we previously read on trip advisor. Everything we needed was in our room. The robes and slippers were a nice added touch and the wardrobe was spacious for all our clothes. We loved this charming hotel with all its little old fashioned look and feel. Enjoyed every moment!
