Epic location with fantastic Tuscan views overlooking the hills. Around 25 min drive from the beach. Pietro was very friendly, made us breakfast to take to our room/terrace. Great swimming pool, very spacious room with own terrace and kitchen, overall highly recommend! Perfect base for a Tuscan adventure

The location is beautiful with an amazing view of the valley especially in the morning. The apartment we got was spacious and well equipped. In front of the house there is seating and it was also possible to wash our bikes with a hose there. The staff was very welcoming and helpful even though they didn’t speak English, we managed to understand each other anyway. It was a very nice experience.

Very friendly and cosy atmosphere, thanks to the couple managing the hotel.They gave us very useful tips on what to do in Volterra and in the wider region. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center of the old town and only a few steps away from the nicest restaurants and gelaterias. Furthermore the hotel is situated very close to the safe underground parking garage and the bus stop. Last but not least: the breakfast buffet is excellent!

The place was very clean and cozy, situated in a centre of lovely town of Montecatini Val di Cecina, with a superb view. The host has done more than expected to make us feel welcome and comfortable, starting with great flexibility on check-in and check-out, then sharing some welcome gifts of local treats, and finally checking with us on some lost item and suggesting to send it. Great service and hospitality!

Staying at this location is a unique experience, because the landscape is beautiful, the place is peaceful and really relaxing. We stayed in the cottage by the pool which was great in a lot of ways, because we got a lot of added privacy and it was very different from a hotel. The host family is lovely. Breakfast was simple, but very good, especially the croissants!

The location and surroundings were perfect for a leisurely Tuscan vacation. It was nice having a winery just down the road, and the village of Montecatini val di Cecina was full of wonderful surprises in the evening! The copper mine was also an excellent visit worth making.
