Set in Muro Leccese, Hotel dei Messapi is in the heart of Salento. It offers free parking, a small garden, and a restaurant specializing in fish dishes and homemade cuisine. Rooms offer free Wi-Fi. Very good restaurant, very welcoming staff, private parking across the hotel, excellent location for day trips in the region.
Masseria Lacco is 1.2 mi outside Muro Leccese in the Salento countryside. A working farm, it has its own crop fields and vegetable patches and produces olive oil, cakes, jams and crisp bread. The location is perfect for exploring Puglia in all directions. The food is wonderful, including the breakfasts with fresh baked pastries and fresh fruits and the most wonderful coffee that goes so well with them. The hosts are super friendly and helpful and very professional on top of that. It was refreshing to stay on a "farm" but it wasn't as though you were sleeping on hay-the rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning if, a nice courtyard to relax in and gather to talk with owners and other residents f you want, and of course the bathroom is large and well done. We especially appreciated the soft stone floors of the shower which were naturally resistant to slipping, mildew, etc.
Antico Camino B&B is set in a quiet street off the center of Muro Leccese, an 15-minute drive from Lecce. Rooms are spacious and elegant. The Antico Camino is a bright, stylish building. Owner is amazing and gave us such great treatment and attention! All rooms are nice! Breakfast is great!!
The elegant Palazzo Muro Leccese Relais de Charme offers air-conditioned rooms in a 17th-century historical building in Muro Leccese, part of the Salento area. The interior of the Palazzo Mura Leccese is very elegant with marble floors, high ceilings, lovely paintings, antiques, and sculptures. The rooms are attractively decorated with nice, modern bathrooms, but no individual amenities. There is an indoor pool, sauna, and spa treatments available for a fee. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room or on the terrace and features home made jams, breads, and cakes, but no fresh fruit or eggs. Enrico, the owner, is very attentive and helpful with sightseeing advise. This Palazzo is close to Otranto, Castro, and Maglie, but a little too far, if you want to spend your time in Lecce. It is a good choice, if you want to relax and do the spa activities.
Surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, this stone-made property is set in the countryside 2.5 mi from Muro Leccese. I have been with my partner, and we really enjoyed staying in this villa. In this period of the coronavirus, we found the room all sanitized and fresh, with a good smell. The owners , Ada and Fabio welcomed us in a very kind way, they told us the history of this ancient house, and they offered us homemade delicacies, specialties of their land, for our breakfast and helped us to book some characteristic restaurants to eat in the evening. In addition, the area is strategic, 10 minutes from Otranto, for who want to enjoy the sea and 5 minutes from Maglie for who want to eat in good restaurants.
Featuring an outdoor pool and restaurant, Tenuta Sant’Andrea is located in Muro Leccese. The farm stay produces olive oil, pasta and corn, and horse riding is available for the guests. The location is ideal and the property is magnificent but above all the hospitality of Matteo and his staff can not be surpassed. Everyone is so friendly and you feel part of the family. The room was exquisite with a magnificent terrace to enjoy a glass of red at night. Matteo would text each morning to recommend areas to visit based on weather conditions which really helped us. Anna who prepares a fantastic breakfast was an absolute delight. You can’t go wrong staying here.
Featuring a bar and a buffet restaurant, Motel S.16 offers modern accommodations in Muro Leccese. With free private parking, the property is a 10-minute drive from Maglie. the staff were friendly and accommodating. the rooms are modern, clean and spacious. breakfast was simply the best. Freshly baked tasty pastries and fresh orange juice. Will absolutely comeback.
We are a family with two young children and found this a fantastic spot to stay. Our accommodation was seperate from the main area but still very close to the pool and restaurant. Our accommodation was far nicer than the photos and was very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. The view from the balcony was also great. We had booked half board and enjoyed two meals a day including breakfast. We found the dinner times too late with our young kids (as with most of Italy), but really appreciated our delicious lunches. The staff were very friendly and attentive and they were very good with our children. The pool was great for our kids but we found they were more comfortable with floatation vests as the water was otherwise too deep for them. It was easy to get to the accommodation as it was close to the main road, but we would highly recommend you have your own transport to appreciate what the area has to offer.
Small town, very cozy, friendly people. Not much to do, but take a car and go to Otranto, Lecce, Maglia...Sunday and Monday- couldn't find a place for dinner, all closed. But there are wonderful restaurants only few kilometers away- in Maglia for example..
The host is very nice and gave us a lot of good recommendations The breakfast is great, good variety and homemade products There is a nice yard were breakfast is served and you can relax there too Very easy to park in front of the hotel
Very good restaurant, very welcoming staff, private parking across the hotel, excellent location for day trips in the region.
The location. The size of the property. The owners were fantastic. The availability of equipment. A little attention to detail and making the property a little clearer of personal possessions would make this an excellent choice.
