I stayed only 1 night, but it was a very cozy hotel with the nice breakfast and right in the city center close to everything. Room was preheated to my visit and it was quite pleasant and warm in the shower and room. Gentle and attentive stuff.

The old town is very beautiful and really amazing...

The old town is very beautiful and really amazing restaurants with very good food and wine. The old architecture is well kept and it is well worth a visit. Restaurant Civico 27 is a bit pricey but the service and food is amazing.

I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on...

I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on entry. The apartment was on the last floor with no lift access. It wasn’t anywhere near the centre. Went for a walk to get some food. Everything was closed. Lucky after a very long walk to find a pizza place. The shower was so small you could move much without hitting the very poorly installed plastic doors. Very disappointed.

I already knew Novara; I'd been there many years ago, and I have to say that, in some ways, it's gotten a bit worse. There's no bar or newsstand at the station, and the ticket office for public transport was closed (Saturday).

A historic city, well-organized and managed.

A historic city, well-organized and managed. The population is courteous and friendly, apparently half European. Traffic is congested at times. The hospital is excellent. Festivals galore. On San Martino, there's a festival featuring exquisite blueberry risotto.

I didn't know Novara so well if not by walking around these days I discovered some nice places in addition to the large and satisfying pedestrian area with all the shops ready to satisfy people's needs, I ate at Fra Diavolo a very easy and modern pizzeria, then in the evening walking around the centre and beautiful

Novara is a small, quiet city where you feel safe. The location is convenient if you want to go on other trips, whether north to the lakes or to Milan, Pavia, Vercelli. The city is clean with nice architectural monuments.

Modern building well located to visit Novara and also, as in my case, to reach the train station to go to fiera Milano. Supermarket as wrll as take away pizza places very near. It was also to reach by car and safe, gated parking is included. Apartment itself is compact but well apointed and equipped. Easy Check in/out with key box.
