B&B Domus Gratiae is located in Ostia Antica and set in its garden. It features free WiFi throughout, air-conditioned rooms, and a shared terrace. A wonderful choice! Spacious rooms in a quiet neighborhood. It’s only a 5-10 min walk to the central piazza and the historic borgo and castle area, where you can find restaurants and markets. The ruins of Roman Ostia Antica lies just past the castle. The B&B is neat and clean, the rooms are individually air conditioned and have TVs. There’s even a very friendly black cat! Breakfast offerings include croissants, yogurt, corn flakes, juice, and of course coffee prepared however you like. The hosts are friendly and hospitable. I highly recommended this B&B!
Featuring a free pool, free bike rental and a garden, Gens Mundi B&B is located in Ostia Antica. With free Wi-Fi and free private parking, it has rooms and studios with an LCD TV. Great owners and wonderful room! The self-service breakfast was an awesome surprise, since our flight out from Rome-FCO was early in the morning, and I'd expected that we'd miss breakfast. This was definitely the nicest shower/bathroom of our whole trip, and we even had an actual double bed (instead of two single beds pushed together, which is much more common in Italy, :). Getting to use the bikes to cruise downtown for dinner was also a lot of fun. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night!
Featuring a restaurant and a bar, La Casa nel Castello provides accommodations in Ostia Antica with free WiFi and garden views. It is located a 2-minute walk from Ostia Antica and has ticket service. Luca was a truly nice host. Beautifully decorated apartment overlooking a classic piazza. Looks like something from a movie. Highly recommended
Located in Ostia Antica, a 2-minute walk from Ostia Antica, Al Civico 7 provides a living room with a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. It was beautifully clean. Newly refurbished and the host had thought of everything. She even provided a generous welcome package with lots of Italian goodies in it.
The family-run Ostia Antica Suite B&B is located 0.6 mi from archaeological area and 2.5 mi from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms with balcony, free Wi-Fi, and LCD TV. The staff were really friendly and the owner above and beyond, including personally driving back to the airport. He was a lovely guy who made my stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Located in Ostia Antica, 1.7 miles from Ostia Antica, A casa tua Ostia Antica provides accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. Very nice place! Nice peaceful garden, comfy apartment (We stayed in apartment with kitchen), nice host that can arrange the transfer from/to airport. Great choice if you want to stay in a calm place near Ostia Antica (5 min by bus), near airport (20 min by car) or near Rome (about 40 min by bus/metro to Porta San Paolo/Piramide). Grazie mille, ci siamo trovati benissimo!

Featuring an on-site bar and restaurant, Affittacamere Flavia Roma is about 12 minutes by car to the Ostia beaches. Ostia Antica, the famous archaeological site, is an 8-minute drive away. It was clean. Very clean. Met the most basic needs.
Just 1640 feet from Ostia Antica Train Station, La Villa Del Patrizio offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and LCD TV. keys were tricky to work, had to check in bar down the road...busy road.
The owners were a lovely Italian couple who spoke enough english for us all to understand each other. Their home is in a great location that allowed us to walk to the ruins in Ostia Antica and to a place for dinner. I was near Christmas and the home was decorated nicely. Their grandson drove us to the airport, for a charge of course, and we arrived in plenty of time for our flight. We would stay there again, and recommend it to others.
Nice little town with good restaurants and GREAT history. The ruins are a great visit. Much calmer and nicer than visiting Pompei, though Pompei is a little grander. Definitely worth a day or two of exploration.
Good: close to airport and Ostia Antica Ruins. Some dinner menu items were good. Breakfast was good, typical European fare. Loved the coffee. Bad: Filthy walls and peeling wallpaper. Tacky, outdated decor. Small room. Small bathroom. Beds are very hard. Could use a good cleaning. The hotel boasts a spa and a golf course, neither of which are actually at the hotel. The neighborhood the hotel sits in seems seedy and and trashy. Not at all what I expected.
We've been to the ancient port of Rome 3 times now, taking visitors the last two times. Ir is wil preserved, and a complete site, including a synagogue. We like talking people there because ir was essentially all built at the same time, so it'sa easy to imagine life on the streets of the city. It'sa about a40 minute train ride from Rome, or spend a few nights and enjoy the good restaurants in town.
Archeological area a top site, extensive city ruins in a beautiful setting and well worth an easy day trip from Rome or a last stop en route to airport. Ostia itself, two train stops away, was not worth the time.
Amazing. A glimpse into life 2000 years ago. The site is large - I spent 6-1/2 hours exploring it and could have easily spent another day. If you visit Rome, you must visit Ostia Antica. Small, but good museum within the scavi.
The location inside the walls of the medieval city is idyllic. It is very close walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the archaeological park. The metro into Rome is not far either. The interior space is beautifully cared for with incredible unique character, but all the modern amenities. Lastly, Veronica a wonderful host. I can’t wait to come back to stay here.
The location of the room was fantastically close to Ostia Antica, which made my early start very easy. Two fans were provided to help with the heat in the room. I would have rated the facilities and comfort more highly, had I not visited during a very hot mid-summer.
Set in amongst the residential area of Ostia Antica, it is just minutes from the amazing ruins of the vast Roman Port. Lovely apartment, well appointment with everything you would need for a self catering stay. Nice outside space with table and chairs.
Stunning property. This was one of our favourite spots in Italy. The host Luca is a fantastic guy and he should be very proud of what he has achieved!
Super friendly couple run this place, which is very cozy and clean. There are nice restaurants nearby, for example L'Alimentri.
Very nice, clean, modern room; quiet, safe location near archialogical ruins, great Pizzeria cafe downstairs; nice, friendly staff!
Convenient location close to airport. Away from Rome but connected by Metro and bus. Very cooperative staff.
The bar near the location, opened 24/7 was very good with friendly people. It made all the diffrence.
Good location if you travel to or from Fiumicino and to visit Ostia Antica
Breakfast was good value and the hotel gave us early access to our room
