The staff. They are extremely accommodating and friendly, especially Tamara. The owner goes out of her way to make sure your trip goes smoothly. Lorenzo was a great tour guide. I highly recommend reaching out to them before your stay to make sure you have everything you need to make your trip a success. The breakfast was simple, but everything you need to start the day. It was all very fresh and very tasty. The cappuccinos were beautiful. The restaurant, which is off site and only 5 minutes away, is fantastic. The food and service is unbelievable. The chandelier in our room adds a pop to the room.

Everything, starting with the location and very comfortable rooms. But also the quiet surroundings. A great place to disconnect and enjoy your holiday. Breakfast was very good and do not forget to use the in house restaurant for dinner! And last but not least: the staff. Very friendly, always ready to help. I went for a concert but added on a couple of days. It is a small but beautiful medieval hilltop town with a calm relaxed atmosphere, great view of Lago Trasimeno and good restaurants (including a Michelin starred) with a range of Italian styles and cost.

Panicale is a wonderfull old town on top of the hill with...

Panicale is a wonderfull old town on top of the hill with townwalls and narrow streets, and beautiful small squares. Good restaurants and even a small theatre and festival in september. Carparking on the streets close to the hotel is possible not for free. From the town panoramic views on Lake Trasimeno!

Il Pollaio was very lovely in a great location in the utterly charming Panicale. The host was very responsive and readily available. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor courtyard was large and a great place to relax. The washing machine and drying racks were very handy.

Epic location with the most wonderful walks into the hills. The hotel was quite dated but well maintained and the room I was in had a charm about it even if it wasn't the most modern. Most of the team were very nice and spa was great to have access to.
