We stayed for 10 days over Christmas and New Year with our family (4 adults). Initially, we were given a rather small room for four adults, but it was later changed, which we appreciated. In general, some rooms are quite small (as in London :)). The food was varied, the room was warm, although the electric heater under the window did not seem to work (a pity). However, the hot water was excellent and overall the conditions were good. The hotel was fully booked, with busy dining rooms, mainly due to the very good price for a half-board package, which was cheaper than any apartment in the Sellaronda area without meals included. In fact, staying in an apartment during the holidays would likely have required constant restaurant bookings, while grocery stores had reduced holiday hours, making meals more difficult to manage. The staff was professional and provided standard, reliable service. The hotel manager was very visible and actively involved throughout our stay, supervising services and making efforts to satisfy guests with very different expectations. Overall, we felt somewhat spoiled during this holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The location is good, with the ski bus stopping right in front of the hotel, and there are plenty of parking spaces available for guests arriving by car.

Perfect location, just one stop by ski bus (stops directly at the house) from ski lift. Comfortable sleep, clean and cozy rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff! I am pretty sure it wasn't our last stay there! ☺️

Best place we have stayed in the Dolomites. So close to the ski lift (ski bus stop immediately outside and 1 stop to the lift or a 500 m walk). Amazing breakfast. Super comfortable room, and lovely little spa/sauna. The host made our trip - she was so friendly and helped with everything we needed. Not a single fault. We will definitely be back!

This was one of our best winter ski experience. The location was great (close to the nature,not far away from the town centre). The attitude of the personnel was excellent,food great. Breakfast really various,everyone finds his own preferencies.Dinners typical italian (really very tasty).The personnel drives you every day directly from the hotel to the ski slope (great service!) and back.If we return,we will choose Hotel Gries again! 10 from 10!Great,thank you for everything🙂

Clean, beautiful, amazing dinner, super spa!

We had a perfectly equipped, clean, fragrant and spacious apartment with a kitchen where nothing was missing, hotel breakfast with a varied and tasty selection, amazing wellness, swimming pool, outdoor hot tub with a beautiful view of the mountains, everything clean and well maintained, pizzerias, bars nearby and cable cars. And, of course, great options for high-altitude hiking in all possible directions, which was the main goal of our active vacation in the beautiful Dolomites.

Superb hotel for a very good price (late August). All is very new, fresh and modern Amazing bathroom with gorgeous lighting and overal styling all around. Small fridge, hair dryer and electrically warmed clothing rack are also there. The rooms all have balconies with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. There also is a wellness (sauna and steam bath) on the top floor, which is also very good.

There is a jacuzzi in the spa's terrace. Good breakfast's quality

Friendly staff doing their best to meet your needs. The room was very clean and modern, more deserving than two stars!

From minute we arrived till we left, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and very well looked after. The hotel is spotless. Everything looks fab. The spa area was amazing. Fabulous stay at a fabulous hotel.
