The best thing about this small boutique hotel is Lucca, the man who runs it. He is so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is very good. There is a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas for either very sunny or inclement weather. It is located a few meters outside of the main town center. Most of all, there is free on-site parking, which, if you have ever been in Pienza, is great, as parking is at a premium here. There is also a pool that is very clean with crystal clear water.

From Pienza, you can enjoy, by viewing from the town or making short visits neaby points, very beatiful landscapes of typical Toscana farmland where green feild is spreading over the undulating hills, quite picturesque scenery. Town itself is small but pretty.
We utilised Pienza as a base from which to explore various towns within the Val D'Orcia, a world heritage area. We could have stayed longer to visit more towns and explore mountain biking trails. Pienza in itself is clean, beautifully restored, has chic dining spots and it was a privilege to have visited.
Pienza is now one of our favourite destinations in Tuscany. We have visited San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni. Montepulcino whilst travelling by car and have found Pienza to be so pretty and enjoyable to be in. Parking was easy to navigate and the laneways of Pienza were quiet and so charming. The walkway/lookout side of the town provided vistas that you would hope for. Pienza is also quite close to those classic Tuscan scenes/photos that you may have seen previously.
I loved absolutely everything about this place. From location, to comfort, to the friendliest host (Tommaso) ever. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Tuscan country side. It is close to Pienza and many other attractions and is just a gem of a place.
Pienza is in the middle of Tuscany. The most iconic images of Tuscany are taken in its vicinity. Other outstanding places containing famous renaissance art are within the reach. You can take a day long trip to Siena, Assisi, visit Montepulciano, Cortona, and other famous Italian hill towns. I love those places, and will return there again and again.
Perfect little town that represents the mid-summer sleepiness of Tuscany. Pienza itself punches slightly above its weight in my opinions we booked it as it was geographically convenient to explore nearby wine regions, but the town itself was beautiful (tiny) and held its own in terms of restuarants and enotecas. Recommend Idyllium, one of the more perhaps expensive places, but they were very accommodating and had an excellent drinks list.
Close to Pienza and other hill towns, great jump off spot. Room was on the outskirts of PIenza in a historic castle, but Spedaletto di Laura has 5 or 6 rooms and shares the castle with a few other agritourismo's. Breakfast was very good, not an overall destination stay, but if you want a quiet place to kick back and travel to hill towns, they were very good. There store sells there own milled products so try some.
Pienza
Location is exquisite, property was well styled with farms and beautiful rolling hills surrounding it, Pienza is a stone throw away and the city walls overlooks the garden. It’s also pretty much in the center of Val d’Orcia so any side trips are a breeze. Host is very welcoming and has good suggestions of what to do in case you don’t have your own plans made up. Whole heartedly Recommended!!
Pienza
Our suite was very comfortable and actually had the best shower we’ve experienced in 12 trips to Italy. Wonderful ambiance overall. Everyone at this family run business was genuinely welcoming and they pay attention to all of the little details to make the surroundings welcoming. Breakfast was very good too. I look forward to returning in the future.
Location to explore Pienza, and use as a base for visiting Montalcino, San Quirico and Montepulciano is perfect. The hotel offers a pool which is a bonus in these parts, and perfect considering it was 37-39 degrees every day we stayed. The breakfast on the terrace was satisfactory and pretty standard Italian fare. The view is quite sensational.
Hotel is located just outside the old centre of Pienza. Two minutes walk to the old centre, and a good base to visit cities like Montepulciano and Montalcino by car. Excellent breakfast, it's lovely to sit on the terrace while the sun shines and the birds sing. Free parking. Clean rooms. Airconditioning.
The apartment was very large with lots of windows and a great view. The location was near to both Pienza and San Quirco for meals. The bed was very comfortable and it was really quiet at night to sleep. The grounds were very well maintained and lovely. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.
Pienza
The location in Pienza is great and the hosts are helpful and kind. Parking was provided which is a huge plus in a village with virtually no visitor parking. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance and good shopping. Pienza is beautiful and maintained extremely well
Lovely breakfast, which we ate out in the garden. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The location of the little hotel is superb for access to Pienza - a stones throw away! Our room had a valley view, over the Val d'Orcia, which was quite stunning. Loved the place!
Beautiful hotel just couple of minutes from all the beautiful views and attractions of Pienza. Great room with a balcony, very comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast and very very helpful concierge and receptionist. Wish I could stay for longer.
Location is excellent - near Pienza and Montepulciano - two very nice historic towns. The locality of the accomodation is excellent - quiet spacious environment. Fully equippped. Willingness of the personel. Good location to explore Toscana.

Great location with wonderful view to Pienza. Having a pool to relax by was particularly welcome on hot days. Elena could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
Pienza
Very nice garden, swimming pool and a good view to the hills. There we had the best breakfast of our trip in Italy. The room is very big, clean and beautiful.
From the rooms, to common areas to staff/hospitality and food. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Loved Pienza too. Can’t wait to go back.
