A former theater, Hotel San Gregorio is 164 feet from Pienza’s historical center and near the Val d'Orcia Natural Park. The property offers free WiFi, covered parking and spacious accommodations. The location of the hotel is exceptional, just a few steps away from the beautiful small town. The hotel is also nicely decorated, clean, quiet, the bed is comfortable and the surroundings is also quiet. We've slept very well. The bathroom was very spacious and immaculately clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast also exceeded expectations, especially with a wide selection of fresh fruit.

La Saracina, RELAIS VAL D'ORCIA, and A440 in Tuscany got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Pienza.
Many families visiting Pienza loved staying at Hotel Corsignano, RELAIS VAL D'ORCIA, and La Saracina.
I loved absolutely everything about this place. From location, to comfort, to the friendliest host (Tommaso) ever. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Tuscan country side. It is close to Pienza and many other attractions and is just a gem of a place.
Pienza is in the middle of Tuscany. The most iconic images of Tuscany are taken in its vicinity. Other outstanding places containing famous renaissance art are within the reach. You can take a day long trip to Siena, Assisi, visit Montepulciano, Cortona, and other famous Italian hill towns. I love those places, and will return there again and again.
Perfect little town that represents the mid-summer sleepiness of Tuscany. Pienza itself punches slightly above its weight in my opinions we booked it as it was geographically convenient to explore nearby wine regions, but the town itself was beautiful (tiny) and held its own in terms of restuarants and enotecas. Recommend Idyllium, one of the more perhaps expensive places, but they were very accommodating and had an excellent drinks list.
A really pretty small town that has manged to preserve the old churches, place and other buildings, which are in excellent condition. There are glorious views from the edge of the village of the surrounding countryside. There is quite a number of bars and restaurants to choose from for eating and drinking. Excellent for families looking for a stay away from the coast and for those looking to delve into the historical past.
Pienza is an amazing town. Very friendly people, amazing food and wine! Local restaurants serving fresh and incredibly tasty dishes - and of course - trying cold cuts platters filled with local meat and cheese - it's a must! I am recommending also to visit local gallery lead by a British expat - Elizabeth Cohrane - she does amazing aquarelles.
Pienza is a very nice town on top of a hill, very typical of Tuscany. Worth visit are the Cathedral and the two main palaces, palace Piccolomini (only with guided tour) and palace Borgia (it hosts a museum). It has lot of nice small restaurants and places where to buy some snack.
Pienza
We stayed for three nights during our trip exploring Tuscany. Vento d'Orcia is a restored farmhouse and is situated in a working farm, about five minutes from Pienza. Great location to explore Val d'Orcia. The farmhouse was beautifully restored. Exceptional craftsmanship. Anna is a charming host, and I strongly suggest you have dinner at the farm at least one night of your stay. She prepares dinner using local and seasonal ingredients. The breakfast was very nice as well!
Everything was great. It’s very close to the center of Pienza (2 min. walking) but in a quiet area, you only hear the nature&birds. It has a private free parking inside the garden. The atmosphere was great, the room was well decorated, clean and comfortable. The owners are so nice, they produce their own wines and charcuteries which were one of the best I tasted in Italy. It was a great experience, we will definitely stay there again next time.
Second time staying here. Love the place, the people, the location and the food. Breakfast with homemade bread from their own wheat is fabulous and be sure to try their lunch! Very accommodating. Easy access to many of the Tuscan sights - Pienza, San Quirico, Montepulciano and so on. Will stay again and we always recommend to friends traveling to the area.
Pienza
This property was magnificent we had the most beautiful room which was exceptionally clean and fitted out to the highest of standards. The owner Cristina along with her daughter take great pride in what they do. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, and nothing is a problem. Congratulations on running such a successful business.
Pienza
Beautiful Tuscan style house, large room with kitchen and big bathroom, very tastefully decorated with beautiful little touches. The perfect place to stay in Tuscany, convenient location, close to Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Bagno Vignoni. The owner gave us a lot of information. The views from this place are magical!
How can you top staying in a beautifully appointed 13th century castle in the most convenient location to Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino? The Bellavista room overlooks the hills of Tuscany, has a full kitchen, 2 full baths, living room dining room and large bedroom with sitting area. It’s bigger than most condos!
Pienza
Caterina was most helpful pre-check-in as well as during our three night stay. The restaurant below Al Fierale and 5 Line across the B&B were excellent The breakfast was wonderful and the location excellent for visiting Pienza and the beautiful surrounding Tuscan country side. Highly recommend!
Pienza
We had a good size apartment on the ground floor that was very comfortable, and were able to park right outside the apartment. The location of the farm was good and there was a great walking path that you could take all the way to Pienza (2 hr. walk). The views were amazing!
The hotel was very clean. The rooms spacious. The staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location is very close to the Centro. To us it seems Hotel Corsignano thought of every little detail.
Pienza
A fantastic small hotel in the heart of the town. Perfect for a short visit and everything in the room etc. was of a very high standard and quality. Would absolutely stay again if ever in Pienza.
for a very small town, the hotel is very nice - one has to keep in mind that it’s not a modern hotel - it’s very clean, great location, and nice accommodations
