One of the best hotels we ever stayed! The room was just perfect and very clean. Amazing views. It is the kind of hotel that makes you not want to leave. We did not try the spa or pool but it looked great. We had dinner there and everything was perfect.

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Villa Gaia! The room was beautiful, very clean and everything thought through to the smallest detail. The location was great – a short (10-15 min) walk into the centre and within walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Our room in particular looked out over the Cortina valley with a magnificent view of the mountains – beautiful scenery to wake up to! The staff were all so friendly and very helpful with local recommendations – restaurants, walks etc. Each morning we had a beautiful breakfast, complete with fresh meats, cheese, pastries, cereals, fruit, and good coffee! Overall we loved our time here, it was such an enjoyable experience which made it very hard to leave! I couldn't recommend Hotel Villa Gaia enough. When we come back to Cortina this will be the first place that we go to book. Thank you, Hotel Villa Gaia!

The breakfast, although very pricey, was amazing, even for vegetarians and vegans(me)! The quality and choice of the fruit was superb! There was a variety of breads,seeds, nuts and granola, fresh raw and cooked veges, olives, capers, pickled onions , freshly pressed juices etc and the waiter (Victor) so kindly brought me soya yogurt from the kitchen, I received sliced avocado on request, earl grey tea with almond milk and a slice of vegan torte with pomegranate jam filling … no request was too much for them. My kids went crazy over the pancakes with Nutella . Definitely the best breakfast we had in all our 1 month trip in Italy! ( and I haven’t even mentioned all the vegetarian and nonvevegetarian options) And the dining room is beautiful, with a magnificent view of the mountains ! Just include breakfast while booking, (then you won’t think how much it’s costing you) and enjoy! The bedrooms are magnificent and the bed the most comfortable ever, with satin sheets. You feel like royalty ! Just, at present, still no A/C, so can be very warm and if you sleep with the door /window open be prepared for the ( white) noise of the river which runs by the back of the hotel ( or cars on the street side in front). The spa is one of the best we’ve been to with 4 different saunas, a huge jacuzzi and warm indoor pool. ( we didn’t do any massages - quite pricey)
