The covid certainly impacted on this town a lot!
The covid certainly impacted on this town a lot! There are literally no decent restaurants left. A couple of cafes and a pizza trattoria is about it along with a takeaway, fast food joint. Its a shame cos the town in simply lovely, with a great big historic bridge and Castle. As I did not have a car, Pont Saint Martin is centrally located in the Aosta Valley and has great public transport. There are many great hiking trails local and a short travel by train or bus will get you to some pretty spectacular areas to hike.

Fantastic area. Lots to do. Mountains, parks, lakes, water park, outdoor activities. Beautiful setting. Lake Stresa is within 1 hr 20 mins. Mont Blanc cable car (a must) is under an hour. I must point out that while this is not a five star hotel, all the facilities suited us perfectly. We had a large bathroom, a kitchenette, and comfy bed, and teh location was not too far from the bus and train station and teh supermarket Conads was just up the road.
