Very expensive purpose built resort which was very quiet out of season. Several restaurants/bars/shops were closed but we were aware of this when we booked. Very pretty setting and a great base for exploring the Costa Smerelda.
We stayed there in April 2022. The place was "closed". No shops open. I repeat, no shops open. No bars, cafes open. It was "dead". Very difficult to find a restaurant open. Weather, mixed. Accommodation, poor.
Bagaglino could be nice place, for my point of view money paid was not animation or intertainement service as was describe, no shops, was a bit shabby, apartment lack of maintenance, bed was uncomfortable, not enough kitchen equipments for such they size of apartment, not salad dryer and not clothesline ither, no washing machine or Laundry among the residence, shamelessly could have been so much nicer considering money spent, looks like bagaglino were a host town everything was closed, nonetheless was very well cleaned place and housekeeping jobs were nice.
Another world, immaculate town, clean & manicured, felt very safe, if your not hiring a car then take trainers! Lovely walks and marina lovely to sit & watch the boats go by. Very relaxing. Not a good bus service.
One of my favorite spots in Italy. Recommend a 4-5 day stay on the island. Remember to bring carry on as Air Italy lost my baggage (high chance with connecting flights) for 24 hours. Great destination for sailing, luxury shopping. From 3-6pm most restaurants close.
Fabulous and spectacular coastline with this stunning town which is unique and exclusive. Unfortunately that makes it extortionately expensive for most average people. Restaurants charging three or four times the norm for a very simple pasta dish and supermarket (yes there was only one) charging way above affordable prices for the basics. Probably one of the most beautiful islands and would definitely visit again but car hire is necessary as public transport none existent and expensive. We walked to many of the stunning coves and even to a remote lighthouse as the roads were very quiet but it was worth it for the magnificent views of this unique place. A white sand beach to ourselves was worth the walk.
premises are prettily decorated, very cozy and comfortable, a charming pool with a bar serving drinks, excellent breakfast at a beutiful restaurant, nice views, helpful staff who made restaurant reservations. room was very good size and had a small and lovely terrace. transfer to the beach with the hotel’s van is very convenient, and the availability of beach towels, for free, were a plus (we stayed at other 4* hotels in Sardinia that charged for the towels). the hotel offered a breakfast box the day we had to check out really early
The location was very good, about 2.4 miles to Porto Cervo, however, we didn't hire a car and the walk was quite precarious as most of the route didn't have pavement and the driving standards left us concerned for our welfare! We understand there are more pavements to be installed over the next few months. The breakfast and breakfast area was excellent as was the standard of the room. The staff were the 'icing on the cake'. They could not have been more helpful, more sociable, or more accommodating.
Hotel has a private beach (what a luxury). Our room had a huge balcony (with panorama sea-view), a garden. a kitchen, a huge living-room and a big enough bedroom. Hotel restaurant was very good and the staff was exceptionally friendly and spoke English very well. Reception staff was extremely friendly and went out of their ways to help with whatever issue I came to them. The hotel has huge gardens and ponds and nice holiday village architecture. The proximity to Porto Cervo too is a big big plus.
the location is great, it’s near the center and near to the beaches. Hotel is very clean, rooms are cozy and comfortable. pool is excellent. The staff is very attentive and polite. Kathya , another wonderful women and The guy from the reception desk are so caring people, it was a plesiosaurs to communicate with them. they do everything to feel like u r at home. thank u once again, to make make journey unforgettable. Porto Cervo is pure Love❤️
Porto Cervo
Very nice and spacious apartment in the heart of Porto Cervo with unobstructed views of the Old Port and of the sea. The host was very friendly, gave us lots of tips in regards to what places to visit and what restaurants to go to - all excellent recommendations. Both the check-in and check-out went smoothly and we enjoyed the comfort of having a private underground parking for the car.
Porto Cervo
Francesco was very helpful, but we were disappointed with the apartment. it is very difficult to get a taxi. At one point a taxi tried to charge us $200 to take us a mile to Porto cervo. The apartment listing is very misleading with photos of a pool that doesn’t exist. There were several spiders and I woke up up with lots of bug bites.
Beautiful luxury hotel in a stunning location. Our apartment was huge and very comfortable, and also had a great view. Super friendly and attentive staff. Food was great too including the free breakfast. Tons of restaurants and bars by the marina to choose from each night, including the hotel restaurant, Tanit, which was exceptional!
We stayed at a deluxe double bedroom. The building was very nice but never felt it was worth the money. Two beaches (not the best ones in the area) are at walking distance from the hotel. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it, you'll spend a 5 star rate for a hotel that is simply not worth the money.
The best things here were the size of the pool & kids pool + access to the beach. Also some of the staff were super nice and professional (Ariana for example). Porto Cervo is not that far away, but you basically need a car. Breakfast was OK and service at the pool bar good.
Nice beach. Good breakfast. Nice views. Best to have a car because not much nearby to see, place is a bit isolated. Went in late May and pool was beautiful but cold. I don’t understand why they these places don’t heat their pools. No one used it. Wait staff were friendly.
Porto Cervo
One of the best and most enjoyable hotels I have stayed at. The staff are helpful, kind, friendly and polite. The villa is beautifully presented and comfortable and the view is out of this world! Anyone thinking to book here should stop thinking and start booking!
Beds were standard European beds and pillows which are not the most comfortable. Breakfast was standard, typical but not noteworthy The location of the hotel with close proximity to the beach was its best asset
beautiful piece of Italian culture right in the heart of Porto Cervo, we adored our stay the staff were over helpful and friendly, thank you again for looking after my daughter and I so well
