Petrantiche is a dispersed hotel and we found it was absolutely top quality. We visited Putignano for the Carnivale and our room was very convenient for all the attractions. Stefano the owner, was so helpful and informative nothing was too much trouble. We booked a room with its own jacuzzi bath and sauna which we used each day to relax after all the activity we did.

THE BEST PLACE EVER!! We have travelled a lot and this place is definitely the most charming, comfortable and romantic spot we ever stayed in. Our host was beyond welcoming and friendly. The amenities were great and what about the wonderful Trullo we stayed in! Very modernized and well equipped inside. The bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies. The breakfast prepared with love each morning was a real delight as well. Putignano is a great village to stay in the Puglia region, it's an easy drive to Alberobello, Monopoli, Ostuni, Polignano a mare, Matera and even Lecce. We really enjoyed everything, we wished we could stay longer and highly recommend this place! So if you can, book RIGHT AWAY. Amazing place in the old town. Perfectly equipped apartments. There is everything you need for cooking. The whole old town is just around the corner. Church bells are ringing (which I really like :) ). We felt very cozy like at home...Putignano is very close to the tourist towns - Alberobello and Castellana Grotte, so it was very convenient to communicate... We really liked Santo Stefano B&B Putignano. The hosts were extremely kind, the rooms were well heated (it was cold days in April) and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very charming and nice, every morning we woke up in a good mood. The house and its location in the old part of the town are extremely authentic. It’s not a remark, but it’s important to know: some rooms are reached by steep stairs. Parking is free very close - public parking or on the street. In April we had no problem with parking, but maybe during the busier season it will be more difficult.

Putignano is a lovely town, renowned for its carnival parade. However, their Halloween celebrations are equally popular. The town centre is a delight. Foodies will be glad to know that there are some great restaurants. The locals are helpful and welcoming.

Putignano is a good base to explore the towns around such as Alberobello, Locorontondo and Martina Franca, and others. The old town is not as large as some of the better known ones but is still worth visiting and there is a good choice of restaurants.

The best location for all attractions within a 30 minutes...

The best location for all attractions within a 30 minutes drive. Polignano a Mare, Zoo safari Fasano, Bari, Monopoli, and all the beaches and coves. Would recommend Friggitoria San Domenico as an excellent sea food restaurant.

Stunning Italian town with narrow streets and superb restaurants and cafes at great prices. Local beer served in the bars with great atmosphere and friendly people. Great location for exploring the region.

Great people, very friendly, historic, traditional, compact town on a hill with good food and facilities. Although we missed the once a year Carnival there were activities all week in the old town which were amazing to experience

Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic...

Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic towns as Matera, Alberobello and many more. Putignano has great historic centre, many restaurants also with live music. Every Wednesday there is really big market near historic centre with fashion and many more. People here are generally very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Excellent location in the absolut city center, great free parking just a few steps away, amazing host, easy, professional and very chill attitude, large range of traditional cakes for breakfast. Absolutely beautiful historic renovated building. So bear in mind stairs and roof terrace :) Close to Albertobello and Locorottondo. Also Putignano has its own charm.

Perfect location for exploring Puglia. Lovely to stay in this cute, beautiful, comfortable and clean trulli that exists out of three peeks with an extension and a nice garden. More than enough parking space on your private area. Francesco was very friendly.

Exceptional property. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Many options for indoor and outdoor seating. Private pool. Large open space for the dog to roam and even an ev charger for the car. Wish we could have stayed another week.
