Hotel Holidays is set in rich parkland in Roccaraso, near the main sports center and 1.9 mi from the Montepratello ski slopes. The restaurant serves specialties of Abruzzo. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable. Our stay was half board and the food served at dinner was very good. I can not say enough about the warm welcoming staff, from reception to waiting staff, nothing is too much trouble and they truely go out of their way to accommodate your needs. We arrived very late 2am and we're still welcomed and offered refreshments (which we declined at that late hour) and during our 3 day stay any requests we made were met. I was slightly apprehensive about booking this hotel after I had read some bad reviews but I have to say we did not see any of the issues that some people mentioned. I would gladly stay here again

Offering rustic-style accommodations surrounded by mountains, Albergo del Sole is set 4265 feet above sea level, in a rich wooded area, near Maiella National Park. The hotel is close reach to Monte Pratello where we did ski lessons for the kids in the morning and kindergarden on the slopes in the afternoon. Friendly stuff with children and adult entertainment, lots of good Italian food and spacious room, warm and accomodating. Also outdoor playing area. Will visit again, would highly recommend.

Next to Roccaraso Train Station, Hotel Iris is just a few steps from the town's main street and free parking. I booked a (very) last minute trip to Roccaraso. I was separated from my friends who were staying at a different hotel that unfortunately did not have space for me. Booking Hotel Iris was the best choice I made. The staff there knew I was alone and went to great lengths to make sure I didn’t feel alone. They checked on me daily, helped me find a place for my ski rentals and always asked how my day was once I returned back to the hotel in the evening. I was smartworking and they even checked in with me to see if the wifi was strong enough for me to work efficiently. Frustrated to find the shuttle from Roccaraso to Pizzalto, they even made driving arrangements for me to get to and from the slopes daily and even went out of their way to do so. I cannot comment on their lunch or dinner but breakfast options were plentiful and abundant, the staff greeted me immediately in the morning. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

A nice, small town and easy to walk around. Good atmosphere and many things to do. A good place to stay for a weekend, especially if you like walking and enjoying the hills and mountains. A good 'terme' nearby which was thoroughly relaxing. Quad bike tour was available also to tour around the hills.

Roccaraso
House with plenty of character and great views. Spacious and clean with a big table which could confortably accomodare our big group (we were 9 people). The house is in a quite location only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village and shops. Roccaraso is a lovely location for a summer holiday.

Great location in the centre of Roccaraso - all restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walking distance. Comfortable beds. We had the studio room with TV and small kitchenette and dining table - very cosy after a day's snowboarding.

It is right by the ski lifts and you can find everything in the resort where the apartment is located. Also on the day of the travel you can keep your luggage at the hotel until you finish skiing.
